This is the same exact thing that has happened on every single gpu to fpga transition this bear market. There has been lots of the fpga firms manipulating markets. The bits stream devs mine and control price long before announcing bitstreams.

For a long time Pyrin didn't have in-house devs. It was started by a bunch of viral marketers who got the Kaspa code copied by freelancer devs. The devs screwed up in naming the daemon (did a search and replace of kas by pyi instead of kaspa with pyrin). They also forgot to switch the algo and released it with the KHeavyHash instead of pyrinhash. The hard fork from KHeavyhas to pyrinhash failed and chain was restarted. Pyrin has been stealing Kappa's code and releasing it as their own closed source code. There are a lot of red flags, and I will not be surprised if pyrin is in the last leg of pump and dump.

If I were mining and holding Pyrin I’d be concerned about the pump\dump\FPGA hype train… but mining to unminable pays you in BTC… so if pyrin takes off and I get more BTC daily, cool - if it tanks then I’ll switch to another algo and keep getting my steady BTC returns.

if it takes off you continue to get same amount in you get now in one or two days after takeoff, a week max. Network hashrate will increase according to the price so you won't earn a lot from that mining.

Another possibility is that many miners especially big mining farms purchased tons of 4090 Cards especially the brand new MSI rtx4090 Gaming X Slim of which Terra Hosting bought already 10 of these cards for Mining Pyrin. Alone those 10 Cards are over 200 GH’s which is nuts. Just imagine if some big time Investor gets 1000 or more of these 4090 Slim how this will increase the Network Hashrate of Pyrin 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

i think if you can mine and profit from it yourself then that makes everything else void. As long as you got cheap power, price is high and lowish hashrates on the mineable coin then your off to a good start. True that there are many factors involved when it comes to making sustained, consistent and profitable daily profits, works out to be weekly, monthly, yearly.

Gameover pyrin for gpus. Well it was just a copy paste of kaspa, so they know how to asic/fpga it. So kawpow is the only one that holds value here for gpus.

Kawpow algos are way to hot for gpus especially nvidia gpus. I wont mine kawpow algorithm coins coz it would burn my cards along with summer coming up it would be difficult to manage the heaters 😂

FPGS's are nothing more than programable ASIC"s. If you support FPGS's, you're allowing ASIC's on your network.
