Reaching out to you is my tip I am going to try. I am a professional in the film and video production field. I love creating engaging and interesting motion graphics for people. I would love to contribute to you KZbin journey with some free motion graphics work (Titles, Logo Animation, Callouts/Flyouts, VFX). Interested?

Yo! I'm that kid Noah mentioned at the 2:17 mark. Noah's underselling himself here A LOT. We didn't just chat. Noah actually put his MONEY UP and sponsored me. Coronavirus hit. I'd lost my sponsor for my marketing blog. So he stepped in and took over sponsorship for a month. Will always be thankful Noah. Top man. See you starside ✨✨✨

Being able to learn from your videos is absolute gold. If KZbin wouldn’t be there, all of these experiences we wouldn’t even be able to learn from.

Here a quick summary with timestamps: 0:20 1. Ask your friends for referrals: Ask your friends if they can introduce you to one impressive person. Action: Write down the 3 most interesting friends you have. When asking for a referral: 1. In what city? 2. Gender/personal specification. 3. Category/niche? 4. Whatever else! Quick tipp: Adding them on Linkedin ist not networking. A real relationship is when someone is exciting to hear from you. 1:55 2. Reach out to up and comers: Contact them weekly. No one wants to be your mentor. 2:50 3. Do interesting sh*t: Build your personal brand. Action steps: 1. Start KZbin, Blogging, Sendfox. 2. Write once a week for at least 90 days. Quick tipps: 1. Make an intentional list of people. a) Who has a career you like? b) Who's working on sth. you're curious about? c) Who's working in an interesting company? 5:48 4. Take notes and share them publicly Action steps: 1. Take notes on the next podcast, KZbin, webinar and put it online. 2. Send notes to the owner of the content. Great way to connect and learn for yourself. 6:36 5. Financially support people Action steps: 1. Offer an author 200 book sales. 2. Hustle to go sell the copies. 6. Add value to successful people without expectations Action steps: 1. Create something for them (drawing, marketing plan, video). Do it for free. 2. Look at how they are spending their time (assist them). 3. Compliment without expectations. 7. Geography matters Change your environment. Quick tip: Keep a list of cool people in cities. 8. Organize an online event You can use Google Meet, Zoom or facebook groups etc. This helps to build your audience an network. Pro: Your environment is not an issue anymore. You can do it every single week. Action steps: 1. Identify someone you want to connect with. 2. Make it worth it for them to sign up. 3. Promote and make a great event. 9. Search online communities examples: copyrightcourse.com okdork.com tropical MBA product time monthly 1K.com slack groups They hold you accountable. Action items: 1. Pick one of your passions 2. Find 3 online groups 3. Post and engage once a week __________________ On a side note: For face to face networking, I highly recommend meetup.com. This way I found some really awesome, like-minded people. If you are free on the weekend you can host your own meetup event as well. @Noah Kagan: I always take notes when I'm reading a book, listening to podcasts, watching useful content online etc. But I never came up with the idea to share my notes and thoughts about this. Thank you so much Noah. You are a like a mentor to me I never had. Such an underrated channel you got. I'll be more than happy to witness when you reach 100K subs.

5:48 is gold -- wish I did this more regularly a few years ago as I was building my company. I only have a few years worth of reflections to look back on, and those are absolute gold whenever I reference back to them.

Hey Noah. I first learned about you a few years ago on one of Tim Ferris's video where y'all helped a yogi start her business and the 10% discount was how I remembered you. I'm glad you started making more YT videos lately. I've really been enjoying your tips and how you present your info in a very low stress and digestible manner. Keep moving forward and thanks again.

Awesome tips (nice seeing good ol Austin Netzley on the boat with y'all...wicked smart) If you haven't read The Proximity Principle by Ken Coleman (he's a Ramsey Personality) you'd enjoy it and he'd be a great guest. Your tip with move somewhere or join groups is putting yourself in Proximity to the people you want to meet. It's so important and something I feel should be taught to all kids in High School. Great video!

"Do interesting shit and blog about it" this is something I missed the boat on before. Actually, I was too broke to do many interesting things, that's changed. One thing I'm doing now is adding clips from my personal activities (like archery) to my vlogs, or vlogging on X topic while doing a personal interest. Even sitting on my Harley while vlogging (one prospect mentioned this, and signed up a couple days later) because bikes are one of my interest. *I'll be using the friend-referral tip. P.S. "Randomly meet people at the grocery store" actually a great place to get dates.
