It is, "Why can't we drink forever" not dream. Hence coinciding with the title and main message of the song. The other line is, "Why can't we sleep forever." So akin to dream but still both don't say dream. In my opinion/as far as I know* If i am wrong I will delete ofc

Step back and absorb the fact that kids are covering Tool classics. Absorb it. Tool has a remarkable resume that has gone unnoticed in the mainstream, and are as relevant now as they were in 1991. Absorb it.

I couldnt agree more, just the fact that they are playing Tool haves a lot of meaning and value. Beside that, they play very well, technically speaking. Mainstream and lower population doesnt reach the minimum IC to absorb Tool. Greetings from Argentina.

@BraindeadCRY
@BraindeadCRY 8 жыл бұрын
The simple truth is that auto tune programs have gotten so good that we simply cannot tell what is and what isn't using it. Likely 95% of all studio albums we listen to have worked with autotune in the vocals at some point or another. That doesn't make those singers bad singers though and the majority can perform live just as well.

ONE THING I HAVE NOTICED about these videos, in every video, there is a different "STUDENT" on a different instrument for each song, RARELY do you see the kids playing the same instrument, which in turn leads me to believe, they are being taught DIVERSITY thru music, teaching them to EXPAND their talent to different areas of music, not just "you play "this", and you play "This", and that's all you're gonna learn"....... If I had more money I would have donated O'Keefe Music Foundation. Such organization that teaches kids progressive music. Protect and develop it. Their versions of Tool songs aren't better or same like original. They are another. Good, funny (li'l girl pushing the pedal of organ - such wonderful) and quality selfmade arrangements. I love Tool and Dream Theather. I started to listen Tool when I'm 13. I don't think that was too soon. I wish these children were able to compose good own music as well. Inherent with progress and alternative metal, original and pioneering. Greetings from Czech Republic.

Woah!!! This is incredible. Normally, when we see kids performing on KZbin, they often tend to do covers of pop songs by the likes of Beyonce and others. But these kids are tackling serious rock music by bands like Tool and Dream Theater, and making an absolutely stunning job of them. I am completely gobsmacked.

I think I mentioned that I really liked it somewhere in here. I wasn't criticizing the drummer for not copying carey, just pointing out that while she did well and did what she needed to do, curtis or dk couldve taken then cover to another level

These kids rock. I sure hope they continue to have opportunities to pursue their love of music. These kids and the adults that have worked with them should surely be commended for doing the right things. Their sacrifices of time and money have benefited more than they know. Additionally, this venue (Memorial Hall) in downtown Cincinnati is an awesome looking performance hall. I'm from Houston but visit Cincinnati regularly. I hope to get to visit there some day if I can get the schedule to work. I would like to thank everyone that has anything to do with preserving this venue and others like it. I've been a piano & guitar teacher since 1987 and one of my piano students introduced me to Tool in 1993. I loved the band so much right away, I accommodated her request to learn Sober on piano and taught it to a few more that school year. This cover was really good!

Even prison sex? I don't think so buddy. Tools badass but in no way shape or form should children singing their songs, especially certain ones.

I like how they put their own spin on Sober instead of just carbon copying it. Well done.

To be fair Tool is one of those categories where its super difficult to even get close to the original.

I bet they have an idea. I had an drunk dad at that age. I saw his misery, how popular he was at times. Although i didn't understand the deeper meaning until later.

I have probably watched this a hundred times or more. I love everything about it. The vocals are so good, the lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass guitar, and the drums are so awesome. The pump organ is cool, but that poor little girl is pumping with her arm. That little kid with the shovel on the chimes. I love everything about this. It's just dang good.

My favorite part of the girl pumping the organ is that you can clearly see where she is told to stop and she gets sad about it ..
