I was stationed on Hansen from 92 to 94 but my Uncle, Aunt and 2 cousins where down by you. Their housing unit was on the base with the Naval Hospital, very similar to yours. Loved seeing your video, I sent alot of time visiting them. Also sent your video to my cousin Julie who lived there from 11 y/o to 16 y/o..........

I have that same ladder decor against my wall lol! I love how there's so much storage & how "homey" the houses there look, I'm stuck with these dark brown carpets 😫 And you did an AMAZING job decorating, every room looks beautiful!

Nice video. I'd say the military house is pretty damn nice there in Okinawa. The size, layout and quality look great to me and are better than many rental houses in the States. And compared to an average house in Japan, it's a mansion. I just don't see how the Japanese can live in such small cramped spaces with tiny appliances. It's good to see the US Govt. is doing right by its military families.

Thank you! Definitely nice military housing and quite honestly this house is a lot better than a lot of housing stateside too! We were just so used to the space of homes that were not military housing haha but we love our house! Japanese definitely know how to take advantage of the space they have though!
