Finally, i found the real Miyagi do Karate
@calebfuller47132 жыл бұрын
The karate Daniel learns in the movies is actually based on the Goju-Ryu style of karate, which was founded by Chojun Miyagi. The Meibukan school you see here was founded by one of Miyagi's senior students, so to say it is the "real Miyago do" is in fact pretty true!
@brennansnowdon46426 ай бұрын
The karate learned from fumio demuria was shito Ryu there's similarities but it's not Okinawa goju ryu William zabbak learned tang so do Korean karate again similar but not Okinawa goju Ryu they all have different strategies concepts different goals respect all Martial Arts ok accept no touch knock outs

must've been the tkd school up the road that did it.
I trained under my father and his masters as a child/teen. He passed unexpectedly and I took a long hiatus, I am a brown belt so it’s still a little painful that my father will not be promoting me himself. But if I’d be able to train in such a beautiful and traditional setting one day, I’d love to revisit my first love of goju ryu. I train currently in MMA so the transition from karate has been…interesting haha

Man, I like it👍👍. Look at the crisp, good looking uniforms. Love that dojo. To me Karate is so much more than what everyone thinks. Its also about being squared away, not just at the dojo, but in life. Very cool.

I love Karate. It is beautifully traditional and has so much to teach. The fighting techniques are effective for self defense however I don't think the techniques are effective against modern mma gladiators. That said, Lyoto and Chinzo Machida...

MMA isn't street fight, it's a sport, that said if you emphasis on learning bunkai of atleast 5 to 6 katas and do contact sparring you become well equipped for a street fight, it's good if you learn other martial arts too after black belt
@longone-oc2zz Жыл бұрын
it's up to the practitioner to decide how effective it is. it's true you can't take traditional karate out on the street & expect it to work. karate only teaches basics, you must develop your own style within.

Simply because they really have very little clue what they are doing. But nobody has ever told them that so they have established very poor habits.

I'd say any Okinawan style is very fluid when the practicioners are advanced enough. The Okinawan teaching is one of the most advanced practicioners in the world, and his students reflect very well on him.
