Why didn't anybody ask Coach Gasso Why she changerd the batting order So Much?
@jeremyleforce79269 ай бұрын
Keep the batters competitive.
@glenndj42159 ай бұрын
Obstruction rule is bad, you reward a bad throw by causing the catcher to interfere with the runner. Bad rule
@womblero9 ай бұрын
PG changes to the batting order to put the batters in the best matchup, as they see it. It’s not a punishment or reflection on the player, it’s a coaching decision.
@maretteschulz88989 ай бұрын
@@glenndj4215 ...haven't watched this particular game yet...BUT....have seen so many "obstructions" called when the fielder, on a base or at home plate, is clearly IN POSSESSION of the ball. My understanding of the rule forever, has been...... if the fielder is 'IN POSSESSION' of the ball, they can stand wherever the heck they want. If they are NOT in possession, there has to be a path for the baserunner to get to the base. Too add to that gripe of mine.......I see so many base runners clearly losing contact with the bag ( adjusting their foot position ) when a pitcher has the ball, set up on the plate, ready to go into the pitch....is that not "leaving the base early" and out?? Absolutely love to watch the college ball from Australia, but so many of these calls are messing with my old head - am 68yrs old and haven't played for many years.🤣🤣

You are an absolute moron. You need direct your comments to yourself…try winning with as much grace as Coach Gasso gave your team and your fanbase. Typical shorthorn fan. By the way, congrats on beating OU for just the second time in 32 games….it should only take you 10 or 12 years to get that win total to double figures. 😂😂😂

OU fan here. They WON'T 4-peat. If I was a bettin' man, I'd bet against 'em. They will lose ALL the rest of their games. They don't even have a snowball's chance in hell now. Why was she put in the HOF, anyway? Wasn't that in 2019, right after they lost to UCLA in the WCWS championship series? Bad move. Texas' coach belongs in there. You put coaches in there who have NEVER lost a game. Teams are gonna figure 'em out. Maybe she needs to retire.
@SoonerBear9 ай бұрын
Let me add to that, please. They NEVER were a dynasty.

Love OU and their perspective after the loss. People are usually so shocked when they lose because they win so much. But I really believe you learn more from losing than winning. I do think Patti’s comment about people taking advantage of the review feature was interesting. Yesterday, it felt like she was doing exactly that towards the end of the game. The call wasn’t really questionable, but using the review in that moment put a pause on the game and definitely killed Texas’ momentum. Reminded me of a game years ago when UCLA was struggling and seemed unmotivated. Lisa Fernandez came out of the dugout to speak to the umpire and when she saw her girls’ interest peak, she deliberately blew up at the umpire doing everything she needed to get ejected. It totally worked and lit a fire under the team leading them to a blowout comeback. There’s a reason these coaches are in the Hall of Fame. 😉❤️🥎
