Jeez CP3 has such a brilliant mind for the game. These pro’s really make it easy and I sometimes forget how much they’re really doing because I can’t “see”/understand it myself
@microfoneman4 жыл бұрын
I don't doubt their raw talent, but like he said, hooping is the greatest teacher, so a lot of it becomes instinct after doing it a thousand times. Like driving, you don't think through every step now, press the clutch in now, take it out slowly etc. You just know. Pick n rolls are like that. If the defender goes under, make him pay with a shot. If he goes over, keep him in jail and work the mismatch / 2 on 1. Do that a thousand times and you start to not think about it anymore. Then your mind can go to the weak/strong side help defender. Cp3 does have a brilliant mind, no doubt, but I think a lot of it is practice.

Good content. Do more. Improve the flow of the film as it is discussed. See: QB camp with Jon gruden. They use the film as the talking point, instead of talking about the clip. Chris wanted to talk they the first clip and explain the set which would have been awesome, but instead it was a lot of surface level convos about the clip he just randomly is shown. Also want to point out that all of CP3s has a quality back up tree: Jrue Holiday, Eric Bledsoe, Darren Collison, all high quality point guards

I don’t have to be super athletic, I don’t have to be jumping out of the gym or have to be the quickest person on the court.
