I'm about to make a pile of these and I have chic pea flour but will have to make some rice flour 🤤💕 ty for sharing this gf method and healthier version for us USA southerners....we love fried okra but we usually fry in corn meal and or flour... Okra has a flavor I'm wild about and I have ever minded it being boiled or in soups either ❤❤❤

What's the point of drying them at the first place when you are going to soak them in water again 😂😂😂

Because the okras are going to be deep fried and the frying oil will splatter if there's too much moisture. The addition of a little water at the end is to make sure the spice powders bind to the okra slices.
