I love okra, but half the family doesn’t. 😕 So I’m wondering, would this work with green beans instead? Our garden is producing a bunch of those. And would I need to change the spices? I would appreciate some ideas. And I ALWAYS Love Your recipes!

Okra apparently has some bad press as it is said to get gloopy, must be the way its cooked, I'll have to try it. What makes it such a popular vegetable. Thankyou Chetna.

Hi Chetna, lovely recipe 😊 I just have doubts about okra... I don't like its slimery part... Do you have any tips for getting rid of it? 😅 Thanks a lot 😘
@FoodwithChetna4 жыл бұрын
Yes like I mentioned in the video, it will start with slimey and go unslimey when its cooked
@OMNS7774 жыл бұрын
You could always stir fry it lightly until the slim goes away in a wok and then let it rest and then prepare the dish.

Hi Chetna, thanks for sharing this recipe! Could you pls. explain the difference between curries and masalas ? For me both types of recipes seem to have a similar concept... Many thanks in advance and kind regards from Germany
@FoodwithChetna4 жыл бұрын
curry and masala are different but used in similar context here in the west. Masala is usually any kind of spice mix and more and curry is the sauce really
