Of course, she's so much fun to watch. She had some good days and bad days just like everybody else. Unfortunately it's harder for her, when there is no one to help her to give her advices, encouragements, and even some loving praises where it is due. She misses her mom so much, because they were so close to each other, and she wanted to make sure that her mom's always very proud of her daughter. She was said to be at 13 years of age when she lost her mom to cancer.

Totally agree, what I have seen so far her performances always seem so fun and creative. It's not just about doing the best and most jumps but she puts on a show and with a story. I'm not even that into figure skating but I keep on looking up her performances.

Is this the same Oksana who won gold at the 1994 Olympics? Wow. Both performances are brilliant but here she seems to have "matured" as a skater. I love the way she embodies the character of Roxy Hart in this performance - can almost picture her in Chicago! What a fun routine and an absolute joy to watch.

When they came up with that new scoring system, it took the artistry right out of it. They have to move too fast and pull too many tricks to put much heart into it. They all but killed our beautiful sport with that one. I pray it changes back to be more like the old system sometime in the near future. I think alot of people are realizing the beauty has gone out of it.

Yuna Kim might have artistry, but the personality and heart is not there, in my opinion. Some of the asian skaters have some beautiful artistry, but they tend to be cool on the ice. They don't steal our hearts most of the time.
