why i like houdini [1] geo scene packed prims

This is the second video in this series.
I am only touching the surface of the concepts.
The idea is that you know about it and when its time to learn it in more detail you can do so with the documentation and other more deep tutorials.
So in this series you only get an overview.
In houdini everything is sort of interconnected and will only make complete sense when you have more of the full picture.
But i iwll try to put attention to the stuff that confused me when learning houdini.

Hy Olaf! How did You spawned the trees based on the grid's id value? Where is the magic in the Switch SOP or in the CopyToPoints SOP?

Good question, thank you. This will actually be a topic of another video. But: In short i used Hscript in the switch to read the id attribute from the foreach_begin1 node. point("/obj/trees/foreachbegin1", 0, "id", 0) and i created a random id on the points of the grid, being either zero or one.
