I had flop socks too when I was a kid! My sister called them my flippers. I think they were hand-me-down socks and they got super stretched out. I'd be walking along and my socks would just keep sliding forward. Until I'd literally walk out of my socks. I forgot all about the flippers; good to know I wasn't the only one!

Just saying... I'm glad I wasn't the only one who knew the secret to Long Johns as a young 8-9 year old string bean boy (yes. I was a string bean. Not a potato, a string bean.). It's fricking Cotton Chain Mail. I literally thought my family went through the ends of the Earth to buy some sort of soft armor. They said, "Oh. It's from Walmart." That was when I thought Walmart was the coolest place. I also thought Long Johns were enchanted, and some were made with dragon hide. I literally thought I was wearing dragon skin armor. I miss my childhood. :(
