Hey Debs, Happy Friday to you and Phil!🥳 Ah Debs you don't look a day over 21! Seriously you look absolutely fabulous🤩👌, hard to believe you were 4 when the railway closed. Stopped in our tracks is right 🚄🚋🤣. But then we ended up finding that lovely path by the river so we didn't mind and still had a lovely day😊👍. You and your kayak would have loved it down there, it was so pretty 😍 🛶👌. Ooh we hope you have a lovely time on your birthday trip to that stately home!🥳. P and i would love to stay at Pale Hall, i was saying to Pete imagine it at Christmas with a huge Christmas tree in the bar 🤩🥰 🎄. We will have to save lots of pennies first though methinks!🤣. Sometimes getting lost results in the best walks! Never change, we love Debs world 🥰 🌎👍. We are excited to watch your epic walk video, going to save it until we can settle down with a vino and watch it on the big screen once you put it up😊👏. Thanks so much for always supporting us and for your lovely comments, take care, big hugs, Shell and Pete😊👊👍

Hello Shell and Pete. Pete the drone footage of the landscape and all connecting rivers was breathtaking. You did such a wonderful job, and I love the speed as well. The faster shots were wonderful. Looked like a beautiful place for walking, I hope you guys had a great time

Hi Shannon, Wow thanks so much for this lovely feedback, I'm thrilled you enjoyed the drone footage of the river, it was a really good spot to fly and we thought the bends in the river were really cool too😊👍. We had a really nice hike, this was filmed towards the end of fall last year so the autumnal colours were amazing 🍂🥰. Happy weekend to you, we hope you are keeping well, Pete and Shell😊👊👍

Best English pronunciation of a Welsh place that I've heard on KZbin Pete 👍. Looked like an awesome walk with the perfect weather to match. Love a good old bit of history mixed in with British engineering I.e. the tunnels etc. Assumed this was filmed in the Autumn? Correct me if I'm wrong, just love those beautiful Autumn colours. Sorry just got to the half way mark and my boys woken up... Will catch up later ✌️👌👍

Hey Gez, Thanks for giving this a watch mate👍 Hahaha yes i do know how to butcher the Welsh language🤣👌 Yup this was filmed at the back end of autumn 2022, everything did look really pretty with the leaves on the ground 🤩 🍂. It was really interesting to see nature taking over the old Railway bridges etc👍. You didn't miss much in the second half, basically the old Railway path had worn away so we couldn't get through to Bala and had to turn back, nevertheless, we still had a lovely walk😊👍. Hope you have a great weekend, Shell and Pete😊👊👍

This was brilliant. Love you two! Loved the old railway and how cool to see the Tawny Owl - such a shame the rail line was cut off. Did the map show a footpath but it’s a shame whatever as there was no way through. The Dee looks so beautiful and Pale Hall was like Downtown like you said. You and us both on preferring the pub. I expect you would have been looked down on as a bit hoi poloi in walking gear 😃 Lovely area Pete and Shell. We’re hoping to get out and about a bit more this year and these are the sort of places we love. Great drone footage on this one and an excellent finish in the pub! 👍👍 A good day all in all which is all you want isn’t it👍👍👍 Hope you’re having a great weekend

Hi there Dave and Sue, Always a pleasure to read your lovely comments guys😊👍🙏. Yes the map did show a footpath, and a local lady we met later in the day told us that you use to be able to follow the railway all the way to Bala Lake, but unfortunately the path had fell away a few months ago and was no longer passable🙈. Never mind though, we still had a great day and if we hadn't of been turned back we wouldn't have found that lovely Riverside path, or the pub!😊🍻. Pale Hall was beautiful, but we definitely couldn't spot any muddy walkers through the window in the posh bar!🤣🙈. Was a good day to put the drone up, nice calm weather conditions👍. We hope you guys are keeping well and that you have a relaxing Sunday, also fingers crossed you can start getting out and about again soon, we miss your videos😊👊, take care, Shell and Pete

Guys I've only just found this from 10 days ago, sorry I'm late ! Came to see if you had uploaded anything I missed 😯 This was a beautiful walk , Bala is stunning and this walk was beautiful with all of the colours and I loved the water flowing down into the River Dee, shame you missed filming the tawny owl, they're so cute :) Your drone footage was so good as always and it really showed off the area well. The 1864 built Pale Hall looked beautiful. Nice that you got to have a drink at the Bryntirion Inn too, looks like you were all alone unless they were all inside ! Thanks for taking us along :)~ Anna 💞👍

We had a lovely day despite the change in route. The Riverside path was so pretty and it was perfect drone flying weather! Pale Hall was so impressive, i would love to stay there at Christmas time, but i think we would need to save a few pennies first!🤣😳 💰. You are right, the pub was busy but all the people were inside in the warm, we were the only two people silly enough to sit outside in winter🤣🍻. Hope you have a great week ahead, take care, Shell and Pete😊👊👍

Hi Shell and Pete!! Great video as always 😊 I hate trying to pronounce Welsh words haha but you did a good job and at least got the 'Ll' as a 'C' 😂👍🏻 Looks really good round there and a great little explore that. Definitely crazy to think of trains going through there 😳 That was no good coming to a dead end on the track! Sometimes with these things you try to find a way and it just seems to either get to messy or you are u sure if you should be on some lands etc. No help if maps haven't been updated... turning back is sometimes the thing to do and I've done that many times over the years especially waaaaay before ai even started this channel lol. Sometimes too when you wing it you come across things you probably wouldn't have. Palé Hall looked pretty epic 😎 👌🏻 and well deserved drink 🍻 Cheers for sharing as always and hope you're both well 😊 ATB... Chris 👍🏻🙏🏼🫶🏻

Hey Chris, Happy Friday to mate🥳👊 Haha yes i think us scousers do a pretty good job of murdering the Welsh language!🤣🙈. The part of the railway we did get to walk on was really interesting and it was great to see nature taking it back😊🌳🍃👍. Totally agree, we made the right move turning back, we did look at other ways to get through but it looked like private land so we didn't want to risk it. And you are right we ended up finding that lovely queen's walk by the river so we still had a lovely day🤩👍. Shell would love to stay at Pale Hall but i don't think we earn enough! Way too posh for us🤣🙈. Thanks very much for giving this a watch Chris and for your awesome comments. Have a fantastic weekend, Shell and Pete😊👊👍

Ah guys, just spat my wine out when you said we did research!!! Note all our info is usually in the voice over!! Thanks so much for the shoutout. This is a lovely walk and one we’ve not heard of. Oo I love those side falls that flow down to the river. Oh no! The path stopped! Honest guys, we never know - it’s all smoke and mirrors with us! if in doubt, trespass - that’s our advice! We also failed when in Mold to find the railway. The part of the walk you did was gorgeous. You got some lovely drone shots. Great video 🍻

Sorry pressed return before I meant to! Don’t know that hall at all. It looks stunning. Looks too posh for us too! Now that pub looks more like us! Yes Mws Piws beer - brilliant! Great video guys xx

Hahaha well whether the info is in the voice over or not your videos are still more put together than ours, we basically just walk around places and completely wing it on the facts, if there isn't a billboard kicking around we are toast!🤣🤣🙈. That's not bad advice, we did try to look at other ways to get around the section of the path that had fallen away but it was a no go, never mind though, we found that lovely Riverside path when we turned back, and of course the pub!😊🍻👌. Thanks so much for watching guys, really appreciate it, Shell and Pete😊👊👍

Perfect winters day and I love hiking in weather like that. Nice to see the first signs of Spring ( just heard later on n the video it was November 🤭) in the woods and it makes you realise how much you have missed summer. Shame about getting stopped and you and me both about missing wildlife or lakes district RAF jets flying overhead. Finding the pub was good but finding Pale Hall was better and not too posh for me, I would be straight in there muddy boots or not lol! To be fair The Bryntiion Inn did look nice too and I would have enjoyed a drink there too but only a half - very cheeky! Not the planned walk but still a very enjoyable walk, cheers Alan

Cheers Alan👍 Yes this was filmed in November last year, unfortunately we haven't been able to get out much lately as we have both been very busy with work, but we are really missing hiking, hopefully we will get out again soon, can't wait for spring this year!😊👏. We still had a really enjoyable day and if we hadn't of turned back we wouldn't have found the Riverside path which was really lovely, or the pub!😁🍻. We thought it would look amazing at Christmas time with snow outside and a huge Christmas tree in the bar 🎄🥰👌.
