Old Abandoned River Inn Spa Casino Reno NV W 4th Street

Closed in the early 80s due to a lack of sewer and too close to the Truckee River they were not able to rid the facility of waste. Enjoy!

It was interesting to me when I drove by the old reno inn so I did a little research and found out that this is a natural hot springs location and in 1870 there was a road house and hot springs on the property, also they had a swimming pool right next to the building with natural hot springs and people would come here to wait out there divorce decree papers. Also it is it was used by swat team practice at some point. I also read that Joe comforter (mustang 🐎 ranch) was trying to buy the property at one time and that some one off with the cash that was supposed to be for rebuilding the site into something. That's what I read can't be sure if it's true but I believe it is.
