That looks such a lovely buffet table salad for party guests to enjoy! I knew I recognised the Old Bay Seasoning - we can even get it in the UK - I guess I will be buying some Old Bay next time!

Thank you so much--that's a great idea for a buffet table...I had not thought of that, but I like it!!! Where are you located in the UK? That's great you can get the Old Bay Seasoning...I love to infuse the macaroni with it...

And I never knew I had lived until I tried the US staple favourite, "Mac and Cheese". I always wondered what all the fuss was about! xx

@@adrianmcgachie It sounds like a lovely place. My mother-in-law was from Manchester...I never actually got to visit there. I have flown into Heathrow and spent a half day in London. I would love to visit some of the rural areas. I love all the beautiful platters and butter dishes from England that I have acquired. I think the English have exquisite taste for decorating and setting the table! A tradition that no longer exists here.

@@adrianmcgachie Oh yes... Mac and Cheese is right up there with Cheeseburgers and Fries!

i think that the secret to cooking anything in maryland is 'add old bay'. "the secret to this peanut butter and jelly sandwich is....we arent going to use any peanut butter....just OLD BAY" LOL macaroni salad is like icebox pies - i am an idiot for these things....this is a great variation and i love that you do recipes that speak to your regional influences and it is clearly genuine and not just something from a cookbook. this is the real deal!!

I like that... PBJ with Old Bay :) It's definitely true...native Marylanders are crazy about their Old Bay Seasoning! I am not a native Marylander, but I eat a lot of steamed crabs! This is one way I use up that left over crabmeat and lots of garden peppers! Thanks for watching!!!

@@gailskitchen you are not native, but youve lived there right?
