It's $5 on Australian supermarket shelves. Can be used on and in almost everything. I added some to my bolognese sauce. It was wonderful. Great mixed in mayo for a chippy dip too. Careful Keith, it's addictive. Old Bay? All the way. 👍🤤😀

Old Bay is a classic American seasoning originating on the east coast, specifically Maryland, and used originally for seafood boils but can be used with anything as you have shown. Thanks for the shout out to our Independence Day Keith.
@AntonGully Жыл бұрын
Commiserations on your "independence day"! Hopefully you'll be freed from the corporations, the HOA, the business licenses, the bought and paid for political system one day! You could have stayed within Britain's warm grasp and only had to worry about stupid politicians, not competent evil ones.

Most people here in South Mississippi and South Louisiana use Zatarains crab boil seasoning for boiling crabs or shrimp or crawfish. I've always preferred Old Bay. It's what my mother used to boil crabs with. I'm having a traditional Gulf Coast shrimp boil for the July 4th holiday. Along with the shrimp, I boil corn on the cob, red potatoes, deer sausage, and mushrooms and halved onions. They boil in the seasoned water after I've taken out the shrimp. After they're done, add back the shrimp, turn off the burner, put the lid on, and let everything soak up that seasoning for about an hour. Then hit the cooler for a cold beer to wash it down with!
