Although Agafia will accept food and products from others, she won't accept anything with a bar code on it. She was never comfortable with what they are and thinks that one day all of us will be forced to have bar codes on us. I think she's got a point there!

Her family did not die from contact with other people, the story I heard was that her siblings left and went to the city to go to university, they never came back or even contacted her, her parents died first her mother then her father, not sure why her mom died but her father and her lived together for years afterwards, then he died and she was left alone. if her siblings are dead now then they are all elderly so it is to be expected. but they left to start lives in the city. she visited in town as well but she would always get sick because of the air pollution, she developed a tumor and had to have surgery, and the last I heard she had to leave her home and go to live in an old people's home. she had tried to get someone to come live with and help her, but she didn't find anyone, what happened to her home I do not know, So this documentary is old already. that was what I had seen on a video of her over 4 or 5 years ago.

El señor que vivía cerca de ahí era el mismo geólogo que los descubrió en los años 70, pero creo él ya falleció y hace unos años la llevaron ala ciudad para ser valorada por médicos, recientemente le hicieron una cabaña nueva muy bonita y ha estado recibiendo ayuda de voluntarios y también del gobierno. I have been following her life for years too. It is fascinating. I do think their parents should have made some effort to ensure the children could marry and have children however as the children did not take an active choice to be where they were. However it does show us the old ways and there are useful lessons for all of us from here in the UK and others in Russia and elsewhere about self reliance, good foods (avoiding obesity) and a healthy life.

Они пример всему и Святость Плохому в этом-не бывать В Душе преобладает радость Когда вдруг это все понять, Дается-пусть с терпеньем- Быть может множество всего, Но и таежным удаленьем Не впустую жить дано! Пример Агафьюшки мы видим Все пожелаем ей добра Мир осязаем ей и виден Через Святые образа! -Агафья, фея ты лесная Ты ропчешь:небу,нам, листве... Молитвой в душу проникая Поклон ответный шлем тебе! Живи в труде,в Благоговенье Таков с Рождения твой путь И за излишнее вторженье Прости нас всех- не обессудь! И вновь с лучистою улыбкой В знаменье все Благословляй И нам в писаньях ,что и в свитках Через эфир передавай,- Святое все-где мамы,дети. Где папы,бабушки,деды... Агафья уже родилась здесь в тайге и получить образование и читать уже указывает на то что родители не из простых. Тем более иметь книги 17, 18 веков. Очень похоже что графья бежали от расправы в 17 году. Видел старую карту там есть поместье Лыковых. Кто знает может и они. Кстати, в этом году впервые речка полностью не замёрзла. Тоже знак в последние времена живём. Плохо будет тем что не успел покаяться и принять Господа Иисуса.
