I have a bear whitetail 2 and a HCA extreme model bow. I recently restrung the extreme bow and getting it tuned in barely. My bear the draw length is a bit long. I need a cam module change to shorten it. Both bows were bought at flea market on different days. Bear @$20 and HCA extreme @$35. Both good deals. Thanks. Both shoot excellent and are in very good condition.

I have a Browning 4 wheel compound I bought back in 1975. Not really that old. Lol😂

oh sure, there's definitely older bows out there. There's lot of new folks into archery and bow hunting who may have never seen one before though.

@@_BrianScott I bought mine Because my mom's neighbor Had a Jennings. I'd never seen A compound bow before and Was completely blown away. The Browning was a real stinker Had the maple and glass laminated Limbs. Blew out a limb twice. Browning fixed it but I gave up On it. My next bow was a huge 60 to 80 lb. Browning with Solid limbs. I harvested many Deer with it and it shoots With authority to this day. Nothing like modern bows With cams.

What's backwall in compound bow meaning???
@_BrianScott2 ай бұрын
On a compound, the back wall is when you get to full draw and the bow doesn’t let you draw it any further. Modern compounds have a very firm back wall, meaning you get there and it doesn’t budge. The older PSE felt like mush at the back wall, allowing me to move forward and backwards with ease. That makes consistency difficult

@_BrianScott I think that doesn't matter

AAE still makes one like it. Lancaster sells them. Not sure how comparable they are to the older models but it’s all that’s left out there
