Because it's the same location, Exterior is Knebworth House in Hertfordshire, where all the great concerts were held including Freddie Mercury's last big Queen show in 1986 (I was there😎😎) And the interiors (At least some of them) are in Hatfield House, which was also Greystoke Hall in Tarzan with Christopher Lambert, and Croft Manor with Angelina Jolie. The long gallery is where the charity casino scene is shot in 1989, along with 100 other tv shows and films.

1989 Batman was the reason I came to love superhero movies in the first place. Such a shame Keaton's return is pretty much just a nostalgia gimmick. They should've just done The Dark Knight Returns adaptation in style of Logan with Keaton instead.

I didn't like the beginning (baby shower) and didn't like the end (their Earth falls to Zod), but did like the middle, like this scene. What a wasted opportunity and a disappointment! I think someone watched that X-Men movie where Quicksilver runs through the mansion grabbing stuff and people, so wanted to repeat that with babies. Dumb.

Keaton's delivery on time travel really makes me appreciate all of the subtle and outright unseen ways his Batman would have operated and thought. Burton's Batman didn't show us any outright strokes of genius comparable to the Nolanverse or Arkhamverse, so it's nice to see the detective in the OG Bats come out
@itsRabbitSeasonYo
@itsRabbitSeasonYo Ай бұрын
he investigated the penguin and found his true motives. he found out how the chemicals turned people into joker smiles as they die. it was there but more in the background of the movie. burton approaced batman as a man in the shadows. so we dont see everything. would have been interesting if burton had a third film. sadly we got the schumacher movies that were all camp and had batman making jokes about the bat card and having bat nipples and ass crack shots as well as crotch shots. so wb created a whole new batman universe with scuhmacher with the samedark suit and same alfred. alternate universe BORN (for better or worse)... Batman Begins totally abandons this idea which makes it its own thing. Batfleck brought it back in an attempt that SHOULD have worked... too many cooks in the kitchen, budget, and execs that know nothing of letting a director tell their story. so The flash is literally the swan song to the dceu.. the flash ends up in a DEAD universe.. the schumacher/clooney one! And now we will have two different batmans with pattinson building on the batman in its own stand alone(at least for now) universe. and Gunn making a different batman WITH robin in the new dcu. i suspect it will all collide for DC's Epic moment. will it work? i hope but so far i dont like the set photos of the new superman...but its Gunn so i will wait and see and not totally judge it yet.

@@veloway It's not technically impossible in the way you think. Time traveling to the past is impossible, because the universe doesn't have like a memory drive of things that have already happened. But if you were to be able to go fast enough, you could go to the future. You just can't come back. The thing that currently makes time travel impossible isn't the time travel part. It's going fast enough in the first place.

In Batman versus Superman, Wayne Manor was practically ruins while Bruce was living in a literal Glass House on the grounds. Have the DCEU been allowed to continue, Wayne Manor would have Been demolished to make way for the future home of the Justice League's (presumably)Hall of Justice

You know that they can still use Keaton for a Batman beyond. Nothing is forcing DC to use 1 continuity for their story hence The Batman (from reeves) is not part of any conituity of the 2 joker movie. It's super hero movie, they need to have a full story about how the gy became a hero. Everyone IRL know who are Batman, Superman or others popular one.

actually this makes sense , like reverse flash said in flashpoint "break the sound barrier and there's a sonic boom , you broke the time barrier Flash .. Time Boom , ripples of distortion radiated out through that point of impact shifting everything just a tiny bit but enough , enough for events to happen slightly different"

Non-Linear Time in Quantum Mechanics In quantum physics, time is treated as a variable, not a constant. Events can unfold in non-linear and unpredictable ways, making it difficult to pinpoint an absolute past, present, or future. The famous Schrödinger's cat thought experiment exemplifies this non-linearity.

Michael's Batman was a loner, so less able to lead. Ben's Batman was the leader of the Justice League, but not very friendly to Barry (or others). George's Batman was the mentor of Robin and Batgirl, so was both a leader and a friend to Barry.
@MKF30
@MKF30 7 ай бұрын
@Scandal_thong8631 Keaton could easily lead and even Barry saw that but he was retired and older by that point to be fair compared to Ben's Batman still in his middle age prime. Ben's Batman was friendlier to Barry as time went on and we also saw this more in the comics when he helps train Barry, he's just Batman which is one thing he shares in every version of the multiverse. Keaton's Batman wasn't exactly super friendly to Barry at first when he asked for help....Barry literally had to remind him of why he does what he does. Clooney's Batman was more of a mentor i his universe having Robin and Batgirl, a bit different than the other Batman's who didn't have any or just Robin in Affleck's case but as far as Batman George's was the worst, he didn't even attempt to mask his voice as Batman.

Without Zack Snyder and a seriousness to this, they just went off the deep end. Next to Nolan, he was the best thing to happen to DC. He really cared about the stories and wanted to take them seriously, as opposed to treating DC heroes like mascots. Sad to watch this decline and Gunn was brought in to do more of the same.
