It seems like less of an orderly retirement and more of a slow collapse into being a lonely recluse who doesn't bother to shave or cut his hair. He didn't clean up after himself or undo any of the things he had set up. The backdoor was probably hard-coded into some piece of Wayne Enterprises computer tech that NASA bought, so it would stay in place unless and until they replaced the whole system.

Film was review bombed only because of Ezra Miller. The movie itself is kinda fun. It is definitely not the best movie ever, but it‘s really fun It‘s just like No Way Home. If you think about it more - it has so much problems, but still you can slide eyes on them and have some great time with good old characters and some emotional moments Yes, it‘s NOT worse than No Way Home. Both movies have almost the same problems and good sides. The only thing, why people started to hate The Flash movie is that Ezra Miller is in it

michael keaton seems like a stand up guy who wouldn't hold a grudge against people, but I hope he is reveling in the fact that the vast majority of people feel that he is the definitive batman. Christopher Nolan's triology was great and batman v superman was awful but I did enjoy the ben affleck as batman and hoped he would do a stand alone version with him. But so much about MK's version, along with the Elfman score and Burton look is so iconic
