Old Chessie Train Caboose tour - This caboose is on my parents property. They have had it for 25 years or so and it’s for sale. Make an offer.

Thanks for the tour. Very interesting to see what its like inside one of those. I'm sure someone would appreciate its history and restore it. Would make a wonderful backyard office, bunkie, or holiday home

If it is going to be only stationary and used as such in its present location itself ,one can refurbish it. Or if it is be pulled along as a railway coach, then you need tracks.Depending on the purpose the caboose can be restored.

@@IAMBDVX We have one restored. it is a Wood Caboose, but I would like one more for an additional Guest House as I made the wood one into my Man Cave.. We are in Watsonville California.. I have to check with a trucking company to see if that is even possible and how much it would cost as this unit is not track worthy. Although Your walk around shows everything in place !

One of the most offensive things of which I repeatably see being done in KZbin video's is the KZbin Video host posting a video of which the KZbin video host is ignorant about the subject upon which he or she is posting the video upon. If People who give Tours in things and post videos and try to explain what something is or what item should go in that particular position should always do some preliminary research upon the subject first so the video posting host can at least have the proper knowledge about what they are trying to explain pertaining to a subject or an object. And not just say.... "There was probably a furnace or something located here" when it was actually a pot belly stove, - or - "There might have been a carberetor here", when it was actually a starter or generator, or an altenator that was originally mounted in that position. - Or - even say "Oh, there might have been a light switch located here", when there acually was an electrical outlet mounted there. - Or, - "There might have been an electrical motor control here" when it is plain that what your looking at is an electrical fuse or circuit breaker box. - or, - Oh, I don't know what that item might have been", when it is plain that what is being viewed is (or was), a pipe fitting connection joint for an air compressor or other air operated device. Ignorance is no excuse when it comes to a video host posting a video and is trying to explain to others about something of which he or she as a host himself, or herself is ignorant about. But yet others (as his or her viewing audience), are relying upon the video host to give them a reliable tour of which containis an accurate review and discription upon a particular subject along with an accurate review and discription pertaining to the objects of which that particular subject originally contained within its structure. What ignorance upon a subject by a video host actually does..... Is make the video host look like what he or she actually is...... just another ignorant fool in the eyes of his or her viewing audence. As a video posting host watch other videos and view them from that point of view and see how many others make that same mistake. Why take the time to wach them? Because after a while.... It becomes plainly obvious that those mistakes become not only annoying and irratable to others but also to yourself as well. Never post a video upon a subject unless you as a host are more knowlagible upon the subject than your viewing audience. Otherwise it makes you look like a fool in the eyes of your viewing audience, especially in the eyes of your audience of which already knows more than you do upon that particular subject and are just watching your own posted video out of curiousity, or of which might just be trying to learn something more about that particular subject, or object. It is like an automotive mechanic of which is trying to explain and show others how to do a tuneup on an automobile engine, but yet has never done a tuneup and doesn't even know what a spark plug or an air cleaner is. - Yes, there are many young professional auto mechanics out there now-a-days of which would't know what a steering gearbox adjustment screw is, let alone how to go about adjusting that screw to adjust the steering gearbox free-play sloppiness. How do I know? Because just out of curiousity, I've asked several young professional automotive mechanics how to adjust the free play out of a steering system or have asked them about what that screw with its locknut is, and each time, they give me the excuse that you can't adjust the steering gearbox, or they have no idea about what that screw with a locknut on it on the top or end of the steering gearbox is or does. That was one of the first items I learned how to adjust years ago back when I was learning how to be an automotive mechanic. Sorry about the rant. but those mistakes of where the video posting host is ignorant and unknowledgeable upon a subject just because he or she has not taken the time to do the proper reseach upon a subject first before making and posting his or her own video irritates me to no end. As I'm relying upon that host to give me an accurate tour, review, and a knowledgeable discription upon both the subject and each object as well as to teach me something new.

You should probably get some therapy if this affects you that much. Seriously, it’s an old caboose, and thousands before you have found the video entertaining. I think what’s going on here is you have a knowledge of trains that most people do not so you’re going to flex and make an ass out of yourself. Good for you. You have the knowledge but I have the caboose. Have a great day.

@@IAMBDVX - I have my own right from and by the first Amendment pertaining to the freedom of speach of posting my own opinion upon here towards correcting something I see as a legitimate mistake without retaliation in and by criticism from you so stuff it You are the one that needs that therapy I was simply criticising what I saw as a mistake in procedure not you as a person but you are criticising me as a person because you like criticizing people for what they say just like all Socialist loving Liberals/Democrats do now-a-days. And the News comment sections are full fo those types of criticising Liberals/Democrats like you. And on top of that - Frankly I couldn't care less if you have two cabooses - I was simply trying to correct a mistake and help you make your videos better but you are too much of a hard headed Liberal/Democrat to accept any corrective help and you would rather criticise the one that is trying to help you. I have no idea if you are a Liberal/Democrat or not but you are acting like one with your type of reply.
