Yay! As a beginner/intermediate guitarist, Jason Richardson is one of my biggest guitar heroes! If I remember correctly Jason is the one who composed the orchestral intro. He's one of the best musicians of the current era of virtuosic guitarists/instrumental musicians that's been helping push the guitar to new limits technique wise while creating some awesome music. He was in a few bands before he started his solo band with Luke Holland who's the incredibly talented drummer. Previous bands including All Shall Perish, Born of Osiris, and Chelsea Grin. He's also currently the lead guitarist for All That Remains. A few songs I'd recommend you checking out that are from similar artists are The Woven Web - Animals as Leaders, Aviator - Polyphia and Shibuya - Covet. Another one of Jason's songs worth checking out is Hos Down. It features little parts from multiple genres that somehow mix to make a pretty awesome song. A song from someone you've already reacted to on the channel is Deep Peace - Devin Townsend which is definitely my favorite of his songs. There's a live version with his normal backing band as well as at least part of an orchestra. Thanks for putting out the awesome content. It's interesting to me hearing the thoughts of someone who's had quite a bit of music experience/knowledge and their ways of describing how they believe a song comes together. Looking forward to watching more content!

Im not sure who wrote the orchestra , i think it was Jason Richardson. Jason uses over samples a lot in his arrangements where he plays and records sections and loops them live with multi foot pedals and switches. Luke Holland originally did a couple covers of some of Jason's songs . As far as i know someone else wrote the original drum track with input and direction from Jason Richardson... Jason liked Luke Hollands covers and teamed up with him to do some shows. I've been following Luke Hollands YT channel since he was 16 and doing drum covers , while playing in a Peoria Arizona local band called The Word Alive . Luke Hollard has done drum covers of everything from Techno type songs like Skrillex , Chris Brown, Missy Eliot to songs from Animals as Leaders , Periphery, etc...
