Hi, i am the one who compile this Mini Pack Yeah a Mini Pack because i used the only available animations from PMR, who ported MW 2019 GMOD SWEPS to CS:S Source, which he provided the decompiled files for some of them Also, the sounds are not really sync because i am using the default sounds without the need of editing, CS 1.6 CSGO Animations Pack Also did this I am consider adding Scout, AWP and Grenades soon

I used to play cracked modded cs 1.6 clients as a kid that change the weapon models, animations as well as player models, maybe there's a way to do it on a legit client, I'd actually get back into cs 1.6 if these animations can be put into the game

Being able to see the bolt and the "cover thingy" flapping around violently as you shoot is extremely cursed, but oddly becomes just as cursed when you try to correct it.

MWII uses stupid-arse names just because they are afraid of copyright or something but really the only firearm company that minds it, is Glock. Others don't really give a shit and some even encourage it, like Vector.

Allow me to explain, I think it REALLY depends on two factors: One, if the studio that makes the game is AAA or indie. And two, the firearm company. In short explanation: Some companies don't give a shit if you include their weapons in your games or not, some have to be asked (but they mostly let indie developers off the hook) and as far as everything goes, only one company sues game studios / creators if not paid for the licence; Glock.

Something about low poly models with high fidelity animations is just, chefs kiss, at least in my opinion. I'd love to see a realistic tactical shooter have this early 2000s aesthetic.

It's what I'm gonna make some day. Well not entirely "realistic", it's gonna have survival horror too. Mark my words I'm gonna make it. On that note: I find that tactical shooters have suffered from primarily pursuing photorealism due said styles increase of production costs makes it content production more difficult. Tactical shooters thrive best when there's a variety of environments where the players have to adapt their tactics. Another massive perk tactical shooters would would receive from a "dated" art-style is how much easier limited or full environmental destruction would be to include. The last point for a retro looking tac-shooter is that a cost-effective art-style is very viable economically when making a game for a niche audience.

This is the proof that valve has to change the animations for the weapons in CS 2, because these animations combined amazingly with the weapons and I think it would give an amazing vibe to the "new game" if the weapons had new and similar animations with those of mw(2019) or mw2(2022), not to mention that they should change the gun sounds, but that's conversation for another time.
