Plenty of machines for your channel lying about for us to enjoy. It certainly doesn’t make any sense why you don’t have more subscribers. That’s the incentive to keep going. Anyway I actually prefer the tractor side of the videos but watch religiously your videos as they all have ways (sometimes not the official way) to ensure that they keep the machines going for longer. Hope ur good lady is up and about soon. 👍

Hi mate thanks for watching. I’ve tried hard for a few years now To grow it. It grew fast until 20,000 subs then slowed right down as content got better. It’s not overly motivating for me to keep going. How the big channels grow so big is beyond me.
@johndowe70032 ай бұрын
@@stevesplacedownunder too much talking and not enough "action" to me it's just the videos are drawn out way too long. Like the alternator job should have been like 5min of video then cut to the next step etc etc. I love your videos but the "pace" of the videos are too slow. I have the same problem on my channel. It's just the editing that makes a difference (but also takes up a lot of time) maybe you could hire someone to edit a video for you? Try that once and see if it makes a difference?

@@stevesplacedownunder mate you need to sit down and think about what you want from the channel. If it’s to put out good content the way you want and not worry about the view or sub count then keep doing what you’re doing. If you are chasing the views with the way KZbin is currently and the abundance of content on there the little guys are going to get lost in the river.

Back in the days in New Zealand T Lifts were popular. Basically they consisted of a Fordson or Nuffield tractor with front axle replaced by a pivot steer system. Many were controlled by two hydraulic (left and right) levers for turning. Very similar principle to your Chamberlain. From memory Trackweld used to manufacture them. Popular with the NZ Railways before forklifts. Another enjoyable video. I share your opinion regarding ratchet spanners.

Hi Steve, yeah some of those older tractors which would never run again as you said can be used for spare parts to keep everything else in a working order. I don't see anything wrong with that. When I was a loi younger we went to the car wreckers to get spare part instead of buying new parts.
