I kind of dig the mast at the end of the boom. I can't tell you how many times I've I've been driving a telehandler and wished I could raise something just vertically without having to also accommodate with forward or backward movement as well (since most people don't realize that your load is never moving in a perfectly horizontal or vertical line, rather on an angle or an arc). And the the whole boom assembly sliding forward and backward is neat as well. The usability of this old machine is honestly astonishing

License? Ha ha lull ! If you're a lazy, smartass, kid jobsite super, give the tired, close to home, semi driver with your load of bricks a new one of these and tell him to unload himself. I think out of 22 cubes, I left 3 or4 bands intact. When I came around front to leave, he's yucking it up with a couple guys, looking at me. I stop beside them and he tells me it's a good learning experience,( to run unfamiliar equipment). I smile at him and say it js certainly is a learning experience.

I drove a towmotor (forklift) at a couple of different jobs for about 20 years on and off. I would have been so stoked to have one as capable as this Lull! At one job at a floorcovering warehouse, I drove a lift with a 10 foot carpet pole to lift rolls of carpet off of a three tier shelving system. It is not easy to hit a three inch hole in the end of a roll at 12 feet up and 10 feet away! I'm sure you will get a lot of use out of this machine. Love the channel... love the videos!

Great video! I loved doing stuff like this. Great diagnostics. We had a 440 six pack in a sleeper car (1973 Chrysler newport) we daily drove (only car) and raced on the weekends. We added two microswitches on the intake connected to the secondary carbs. At full throttle, one disconnected the alternator to reduce drag, the other bypassed the resistior, sending 12v to the supercoil. Ran over 13 years and 2500 passes no breakages 42 top eliminator trophies, pulled the front wheels about 3" off the ground, the grain to the elevator, and the fertilizer home!

I've never seen one before, it reminds me of some of the old tractor bucket lifting mechanisms. It's pretty cool. I wasn't suprised that the old slant six fired right up. One of the biggest mistakes Chyrsler Corp. ever made was to discontinue that motor, regular maintenance would keep them running forever. A school chum put one into a stock car, back in the days when you could build one in your back yard, and put in some decent showings. I think his car got wrecked and the motor lived on in his next one. Had one in a 1/2 ton, the body rotted away, but the engine was still purring.
