Yes basically. You have to be behind a rock or something so the enemy does not see you directly and when you use it the enemy loses lock on. Doesn't work against characters with a scouter though.

Hidden Energy resets your Ki bar to 0. The upside is, if you are behind a rock or something, your opponent loses the lock on. Only Krillin, Gohan and Yajirobe can use it

A bit of help for you: Regarding Dragonballs, they not only appear with NPC's on the World map, they can also be found in Fights. To find them, you need to destroy the Buildings/Rocks/Trees etc. In the fight against Giant Slug, one appeared, the Dragon Radar picked up a Yellow/Orange reading from the ball. And about the Spirit Bomb, you can charge it more, up to 3 times.

Around 18:30 in this video there was a yellow pulsating circle after the building was destroyed. That is located on the dragon radar but you have to collect the dragon ball and win the fight. If the cpu collects it or you lose the fight then you lose the dragon ball

For reference, in the future, when you wanna gain the ability to play characters like Great Ape Gohan or any other Saiyan, you'll need to do Z-Item Fusion. Where you take the green earrings(characters), and mix them with the purple earrings. This unlocks transformations and such in the game as a whole. So, if you haven't been doing that, and wanna take advantage of such transformations, you should make sure to do it at some point.

@dotodoya you can charge the Spirit Bomb up to 3 times using 2 blast stocks each time before launching the it as an Ultimate. Also, it’s recommended to buy some +1 skills for your other characters so that they can level up the skills as they fight alongside you. Lastly, you can remove your higher level skills and reequip them on another characters as needed. 💪

I seen you were having trouble with "Give me Energy" and I was just wanting to let you know that it's to power up your spirit bomb super. True, and I went through quite a break on Dragon Ball games after Revenge of King Piccolo on the Wii. I feel they’ve been on an upswing though with Xenoverse 2 and Kakarot lately, which gives me good hopes for Sparking Zero. 1:15 - Oh, the things you stumble into. I see Gohan here hasn’t been blessed with multiple health Z-items like your other fighters. 3:04 - Yeah, rather difficult to slot the movies into a proper timeline. The Garlic movie slots in rather nicely before the start of the Saiyan Saga but events such as Turles and Lord Slug don’t fit in well. 3:56 - Turles made a nice hoop for your Special Beam Cannon to shoot through. 6:53 - The one guy you should be attaching all these Health upgrades too and you didn’t give him any. Nice of you to use Tien for this fight; reward (or punish) his volunteering. Also, given how often Kid Gohan transforms into a Great Ape in this story, he should have been able to do it during gameplay like Kid Goku can. 11:23 - An you did as you said; slamming him into the dirt. You were demolishing him CQC. 12:58 - The Might Guy edit brought so much joy! 16:50 - I mean, the game has been making stuff up. None of this would make sense within the timeline. Perhaps if they removed Goku and had the Turles and Lord Slug stuff be opponents the Z-fighters defeated between Raditz and Vegeta (Earth sure would have been invaded a lot) but nope; got to have Goku. 18:49 - My gosh; you’ve been so cool in this fight. It has been oddly cinematic. Why are you putting on such a stellar performance against Lord Slug of all people? To think some of your cooler moments would be happening in filler. 24:40 - Final Revenger is so cool, even seeing it three times in a row. An no wonder Cui hated Vegeta; Bardock was responsible for wiping out his entire race of identical Cuis. 27:21 - You should be used to this by now; level everyone up when you get the chance! 29:53 - Dodoria’s gone insane. Just keeps charging again and again at your Full Power Energy Wave and expecting something different to occur. 31:14 - An Dodoria thought he could escape your Full Power Energy Wave.

I'm pretty sure Slug's grab animation is from when he stole the dragon balls kinda just pulling them with a telekinesis type of thing. I'm not sure how you've been mashing during clashes but I always used both sticks at the same time. Also L3 + R3 (aka Click both sticks) is how you switch characters, and you can flick the right stick up and down to swap the chose the character your gonna be next (from either dying or tagging out).

Easy way to farm dragon balls, if you’re interested, go to the 3rd or 4th saiyan saga mission, head to the southern capital to fight the assassin guy (I forget his name as I just woke up 😅) and instead of fighting him directly just break as many of the stage elements as you can… buildings, cars, trees… it takes a little patience but you’ll typically get a dragon ball this way every single fight so long as you don’t die, you don’t kill the opponent, and the opponent doesn’t end up picking the dragon ball up before you do. Luckily the a.i. doesn’t care about picking it up but sometimes they can get it by dashing at you while you’re fumbling about trying to get it.
