I have an old metal canister that was sold with old dutch potato chips, from many years ago, before they came in bags. But Happys made the best potato chips

My friend Bill had an Uncle who was Friends to the President of OLD Dutch. Bill and I cleared land of trees to sell and build a home out in Christmas Lake in 1982. I had used my F150 to haul the wood to Maple GROVE and burn in my fireplace. We got boxes of "free Chips" as it saved "Old Dutch" Property taxes that YEAR to the tune of 2,800 as it was then classified as a development lot.

I love Old Dutch potato chips, especially the Dill Pickle flavor. Unfortunately, they're not sold in Colorado. :-(

The only thing I don’t get is that if you look at old Dutch’s website, it looks like old Dutch is based out of Manitoba and Minneapolis is the US counterpart

Nevermind I didn’t realize it was sold, and could’ve just kept listening lol

Actually it's because if their Wikipedia Page is to be believed they operate 2 separate but still completely company owned corporate HQ's. One in Roseville "Their US HQ" and one in Manitoba "Their Canadian HQ". It's also why everything sold in the US from Old Dutch that isn't their Potato Chips and Corn Chips comes from Canada as they operate like 10+ different manufacturing facilities up there whereas they only have 2 here in the US; Both of which are in MN.
