My mom taught me how to make bread, noodles, pie, cakes all from scratch. Sadly, I didn't have much interest in cooking but I think I do pretty good now. My pantry is full, my freezer is full and during the recent snow storms, I never had to worry about having to go out or what I was going to eat. People from church were calling me to see if I needed anything. It felt good to say "Thanks, I'm good." I can't wait to try the crackers. I hate spending money on something I can make myself.

I just love to try new/different recipes, even if I do have the trusty one that I bake every week. I love to watch Ms. Lori and other homestead DIY self sustainable KZbin creators out there. Even if my pantry is full out where I live and is ready if all the "kids" need to come home to be safe...
