TIP: If you stir in 2 tablespoons of baking soda right after you remove it from the heat, it will puff the toffee and make it more tender. Like for peanut brittle. More denture and kid friendly.

@Sunny Day THANK YOU !!!!! ⭐ Who doesn't love Butter Crunch Toffee? But, who needs a dentist visit following? Plus, it's just more enjoyable to eat it when it's not killer-hard. Does the added soda change the flavor much?❓❓
@sunnyday56213 жыл бұрын
@@SRS4859 No it doesn't change the flavor. Add it,stir quickly and pour. It creates small air pockets and a lighter color, but goes back to the real color when cooled. It also cools quicker. It will also deflate some as It cools. Enjoy.

@@katg.2628 it’s been very dark for me, as well. We will persevere, though. Strangely enough, right now I’m more positive that things will be ok given the sheer number of Americans who are seeing what’s going on. I thought we were doomed for about 18 months....I was like, are Americans ok with what’s happening? Given what I’m seeing nationwide and what I feel in my gut--well, we will see this to the end. We are fighting evil, the same evil that infected Russia, Germany, China, Thailand etc in the 20th century and beyond and it’s very very uncomfortable. I hate every minute of it. America has the numbers to push back and hard. So far those who still love this country outweigh those who don’t. I wasn’t sure if that was the case, but now I do. We just have to get mobilized and push hard. Evil hates, above all else, to be mocked. So we must mock hard. Take heart, Kat, because God has given us small victories but we just need to realize our own strength and do our part.
