******WHAT YOU NEED
8 sweet potatoes
2-3 regular pre-made pie crust or 2 deep dish
1Tsp of nutmeg
1Tsp of cinnamon
1Tsp of vanilla extract
1/2 cup of white sugar
1 cup of brown sugar
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
1 stick of salted butter ( room temperature )
2 eggs ( room temperature)

Hello all if you are reading this my video is officially 3 years old 🎉🥳🎊🙌🏾so with that being said here are some helpful points to consider before commenting . 1. This video is 5 minutes, I have compressed my full prep and cook time for KZbin. 2. All measurements and ingredients are in the description box. 3. I scraped the sides of bowl however this video is edited 4. Taste before the eggs because everyone else thinks something will happen to you . I didn’t and nothing has happen to me ,been doing it for years ☺️ 5. The sweeten and condensed doesn’t make it to sweet hence the confirmation of everyone in the comments that has made it and continue to 6. No need to tell me how you do it or what you would have done because this is my recipe 7. Sweet potatoes :boil, bake them , air fry them or steam them that is your preference . I boiled mine 8. I have no clue of the ingredients for one pie because recipe has always been for 2 or more 9. If you don’t like my recipe before even trying it that is fine but no need to comment there are hundreds of other videos that may suite you better 10. Some people think that if you crack the egg in your bowl you may have a bad egg and ruin your pie .🙋🏾‍♀️ 41 in a few weeks never had a bad egg . Some people just don’t understand, there’s hundreds of recipes, you’re just sharing yours. A woman like me who has never made a sweet potato pie b4, saw that yours was baking friendly, and I didn’t have to go out and get any ingredients. Timing was good and short. Love it 😍 keep on sharing. No need to consider the ones who’s not interested in you recipe, the pros our way the cons. Again it worked 4 me. 👍

I’m very picky about my sweet potato pie but this was actually a great beginners recipe. I was quite surprised. Sweet potato pie is my favorite dessert and I’ve watched lots of videos just to see how other ppl cook them but only one person has come close to my grandmother’s recipe. This one is definitely on its way. Only note I would give is add ur eggs last so u can taste ur mixture to make sure it’s sweet enough. Taste as u go, once it’s right for you, then add ur eggs.

I see a lot of comments about not knowing about condense milk, where are you guys from? I loved the recipe. It comes so close to my grandmother’s recipe. She uses both condensed milk and regular milk. A lil flour to make it firm. Sweet potato pie is my favorite dessert especially warm with a lil vanilla ice cream 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🥰🥰🥰🥰! Here in Canada sweet potato pie isn't common at all, never even heard about until I was like 15. I made this recipe and everyone in my family loved it! My mom was famous for her sweet potato pies. Every thanksgiving she’s start like a week prior making at least 50 because everyone wanted to take home at least 2-5 lol. My husband had only ate pumpkin pie and was hesitant to try it. Once he did he fell in love and never went back. My mom died a few years ago and this is one recipe I never learned.
