Delicious ! We rolled our cookie dough balls in turbinado sugar, it gave them a nice crunch and glitter.

Just made these on a cold rainy Sunday afternoon. They are delicious! The only adjustments I made were to refrigerate the dough a little longer and bake them for 9 instead of 10-12 minutes so they’re a little soft in the center. Now I need to get them into the freezer so I don’t eat them all! Yum!

What beautiful cookies! I must confess that my only use of molasses has been to add it to a large feed bucket full of warm water and a hand full of crimpled oats, for which I gave to my horse to drink on a cold winter's day. I didn't want her to colic from lack of getting a good drink of water. I think I might just have to get some and make a batch of the sweet lovelies. I'm thrilled to see you have this recipe on your site! I'm going to add molasses to my grocery list and attempt to make these next week. I think i'll try adding some finely minced crystallized ginger to half the batter to see if that enhances or detracts. Thanks for all you do. Hi Kevin. I've only recently discovered you're channel & am thoroughly enjoying watching & making the recipes. I have a lot of catching up to do however. I must comment specifically on the Molasses cookie recipe today though, great sugaring technique. I love Molasses cookies. Sounds like a great recipe. I'm going to try it.
