Ever since Freedom Unite White Fatalis has been my favorite elder dragon. Fighting him for the first time felt like fighting a god, also best fight theme ever.

Thing is, "Old Fatalis" is actually the original name! "White" Fatalis is actually a fan term, whereas the current official name is the closest to the original Japanese. Its Japanese name roughly translates to "Ancestral Miraboreas" ("Miraboreas" is Fatalis's Japanese name). So Old Fatalis is quite apt. Also, knowing that Fatalis has no Elder Dragon Blood canonically, it means Old Fatalis doesn't actually use Dragon Element at all!

​​@@keeganguyer5237 Easy, he doesn't. Josh is just wrong with his assertion in the video. Well, sort of anyway. Old Fatalis' lightning in the main series is just pure Thunder Element. In fact Dragon Element as we know it, with the iconic red lightning and all was introduced in Tri with Deviljho and Alatreon. Whereas Old Fatalis and *his* red lightning was introduced in Dos, where it was just... red lightning. (2nd Gen had a "Dragon" property on elder dragon weapons, but it was basically Elderseal, not an element) In FRONTIER however, Old Fatalis uses a combination element known as Emperor's Roar which is 75% Thunder and 25% Dragon. That alongside the visual confusion with the modern Dragon Element, is probably where Josh got the "Dragon Lightning" thing from

Huh? Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure you don't need Elder Dragon Blood to use Dragon Element since Jho, Stygian, etc. are not Elders. Also, I'm pretty sure Old Fatalis does part dragon damage in the 4th gen. I haven't played anything from the first three generations though, so I could totally be wrong since Old Fatalis was added in the 2nd gen

My headcanon for the mh world is that the planet is a bit bigger then our earth, they have a higher amount of oxygen in the air considering how big the insects can get, and that the days last longer compared to ours idk why but the mh world just feels bigger allowing for more secluded civilizations like kamura and also new locals never seen before in the old world.

In preperation for Wilds, I've been drawing monsters for it based on the weapons displayed in the trailers. They're coming out pretty well, but I also drew a Thunder element Brachydios and an Ice element Durambaros. And then for fun afterwords I drew Aylia and Cotton riding baby ones Stories style. And as for old man Fatalis, I've never had fun fighting him, because old world Fatalis was really disappointing. If they could bring him back, World style, he could easily be nee player's favorite.
