I still don't get how spirit bf got corrupted, did he try to fight Pico, MM and the spooky kids at the same time alone and lost? Did he get intercepted by them before reaching DD and GF and lost the fight?

It could explain how he gets corrupted 🤷 Edit: ok, from the updated lore, it seems like when spirit was about to possess bfs body, Pico interrupted it and shot at the TV, somehow also making spirit merge with the corruption (which seems to have killed him)

It’s what you deserve my dude, you took an already interesting concept like the Resurgence timeline and gave it so much life, you made CSpirit!BF a living being with a conscience rather than a seemingly emotionless machine accidentally crafted for nothing but destruction. You gave DD a glimmer, a false taste, of hope for what was practically his last moments of freedom. You made a beginning cutscene for a one-off song.
