Old Guys Mountain Biking - Chunky Piedmont - Duluth

The boys and I got out for another skinny tire ride before the snow flies. We were able to spin the mountain bikes around the Piedmont trail system one last time. Although, there's a slight possibility of one more ride tomorrow depending upon the overnight temps. When it drops below freezing overnight and above freezing during the days, the trails can get really sloppy and soft in a hurry.
This was just a short little five miler through Piedmont. on the Ibis Exie to take in some of the rocks and roots that are plentiful in the trail system. Temps were in the upper 30's (F) but it's still always great to get out. Normally we would have some snow on the ground and would have already been in the freeze/thaw cycle but, we'll take what we can get! I appreciate you riding along.
