As I bent down to put $ in this mans hand i realized he was watching you and Sherpa! When our mastiff got older and slipped a disk, his back legs started to fail. We were told to use a Help Em Up Harness and it worked beautifully to help him stand and keep his back legs organized. You are doing a wonderful job with Sherpa. Don’t listen to the trolls. We are all pulling for you and Sherpa.

The Help Em Up Harness was a great help for us when we traveled after our Samoyed started having issues with stairs. I have a small car and he also had the issues with the back seat that Sherpa has. Galliprant is supposed to be easier on the liver than other NSAIDs and we gave Adequan injections. Our vet also offers K Laser and Acupuncture with K Laser.

Tearing down someone in this way comes directly from your own inner frustration! The proof is, anybody with any sense can see you are not going after the thousands of poor owners all over the world who ties a pet outside in any kind of weather, feeds him sporadically, and generally doesn't care in the least about him. Instead, you go after a person who literally lives his life for his dog, cares greatly about him, to the point he buys a certain type of vehicle and even a dwelling to cater to him. In short, he treats his friend, his dog, better than you treat people. What does that say about you?

Great news on the Librela Jamie and Sherpa. Teddy, our rescued from racing greyhound, 2 years ago at the age of 8, had severe pain from racing injuries and resulting arthritis and has since had 2 good years thanks to Librela. We were told 2 to 3 months to see the results. We saw them after 48 hours, he was able to jump into our car, get on the sofa and our bed more easily. I hope Sherpa has a similar miracle result. We have also changed our car twice for Teddy and I am currently looking to change my Mini to a Honda with magic seats to make it easier for him in the future. Anyone who is making negative comments hasn't had the privilege of having a special bond with a canine companion.

My labrador Harry has been on Librela for 4 years since his operation after he ruptured his cruciate ligament. Its made a big big difference to him. He is 12 next month and still sprightly. Good stuff librela.

What a good pet parent you are, changing your cars to make it easier for Teddy. My daughter has a 14yo Husky with bad arthritis in his back and rear legs. He can no longer jump on the bed to sleep with her, so she put her mattress on the floor so they can still be together. He is so loved. Not sure what pain killers he takes, but I will mention the Librela. Thank you.

Your hair looks fine 😊 why get a cut because of someone’s comment. I like the tablet technique. I use what we call plastic cheese, the gooey stuff single wrapped in plastic. My Bluey will swallow anything wrapped in that. I spent a couple of hundred dollars on a ramp for my arthritic old boy. He also has wonky front legs. He absolutely refuses to use the ramp and will spend 5 mins working up to jump on the couch. My grandkids use the ramp as a slide 😂😂 Sherpa looks very similar to me getting up off the floor.

We've always either had Huskies or Malamutes, and as they got older, their hips were the first major problems with. The pups took anti-inflammatorys really didn't work. The kids all reached happy ages 12 years, 14yrs, 11yrs, 13years. Ignore the negative comments those people are long on mouth and short on brains. Keep up what your doing

It’s tough getting old, I know, I’m 75. I’m a little like Sherpa, hard to get up but once up and moving I’m ok. Plus nothing moves as well when it is colder. My dog will go in and out of his bed too. I think it is a temperature thing. They get too hot in the bed they will lay on the floor for a while. You might think about helping him up just to make it easier for him so he can get up and going. Sending good thoughts!

My husky, 12, just had his first Liberal injection a few weeks ago. I started to see a difference. He is getting up much easier. The vet did say we may not see a big difference until after the 2nd injection which is on 2/15. It doesn't affect their organs either which is fantastic. Good luck.

When our husky was having problems getting up, we started giving him liquid glucosamine confronting that we got at the feed store. We bought the kind for horses and adjusted the dose, putting it on his food. It didn't affect his organs, and it gave us several more years together. He even became puppy-ish again! You should be able to give it to him, along with what you are doing. Give Sherps lots of hugs.

Even when you tell him before leaving the house we are taking the van. He goes straight to the mini. Hate to see you get rid of it, because we know he loves the mini. Oh me again, I do get cortisone shots in my hips, I can feel horrid and a lot of pain for a few days after until they work. Maybe some heat for Sherpie if he seems a bit worse after shots. Praying they work for him.

Poor fluffy pup Sherpy, yes I know, getting old is hard and every now and then there are problems getting up in the morning. 🥰 I hope it's not a permanent situation and the restarted hydro helps you build muscle in your hind legs. Then you'll quickly get better at getting up again. Sherpy is a strong boy and will do anything to get fit again and with Dad by his side it can only be perfect. I'm very sure the conversation with the doctor showed you many ways to make him as comfortable as possible. Jamie, don't give a damn about the negative comments. Re: the Mini. How about removing the back seats, installing an elevated bed so he can see out while still lying down? Also have him enter the car via the rear hatch and using a ramp for him to walk easily into the car?😂

Iv followed Sherpa for a long time. I lost Monty a year ago the week before Xmas! He was 15 blind and deaf. Do not pay any attention to negative idiots, everyone can see what a fun loving life Sherpa lives. Ignore the meanys what horrid we lives they live. I got Monty to help me after years of ill health and we had great fun traveling around, I miss him terribly BUT i was lucky to have wonderful times together.

Jamie, I think in all the years I've been watching you tube videos I have only ever left 1 or 2 comments, but I wanted to tell you that I watch your videos regularly and can tell with my own eyes and heart how much you love sherpa, and how much he means to you. It is obvious how well you treat him, always putting his needs before yours. I wish more pet owners were as wonderful as you are and both you and sherpa are so very lucky to have each other. Don't let them get you down, those mean comments are from people who have nothing better to do and have such unhappiness in their life that they have to tear others down to find any joy. Jamie, Librela injection is what our Labrador started taking for arthritis and pain. We are already seeing small improvements but the vet did say you really wouldn’t see improvement till after 2nd treatment. Jamie you live with Sherpa, you in your heart know how he is doing every minute, everything you do for him that we never see. Our dog goes from bed to bed, from carpet to wood floor trying to change position, get comfortable etc. Maybe they are critical of your hair because their bald???? Oh and you NEVER force Sherpa in the mini!!!! He loves riding with his fur in the wind and saying hello to everyone!!! Did they not see the videos of Sherpa going to the mini waiting on you because he wanted to ride in the mini??? Concentrate on you, Sherpa and your family that is what matters ❤️🐾we support you!!!!!

It was difficult to make the decision to adopt again after our old critters passed away. But after all these years I saw your videos and I remembered how the world was always fuller when you open your heart to a furry companion. His name is Milo, and his fluffy cat ways have filled up our house again. He’s a junk food junkie, sometimes tries to sleep on our heads, tests the sharpness of his weapons on the couch. Our Eliott who had similar problems got Librela injections once a month + laser. It was much better. To help him getting up on slippery floors we put him doggy boots. It helped a lot.
