Are the tower blocks across the road from Thomas A Becket. Lived there 25 years ago in a squat, electriciy and hot water and rent for free. Great place to live and bevvy Dun Cow, Gin Palace :)

Wow...what a Gem of a film....that area is unrecognisable now apart from the Thomas a Beckett but I think even that building is not a proper pub now! Proper stores ,community and neighbourhood.......it is really tat these days with a very minimal English population! governments have got a lot to answer for!

Bought my first pair of Dunlop tennis shoes their, and for some reason keeping them white was a No No, did anyone else do this, A1 stores for records then down the lane, East Street , Hacking Jackets , Goray Skirts, Grants shoes , Gold Tipped patent shoes, Bow tie Blouses and Silk suits, Lamberts, Moda 3 Tower bridge road

Nothing on here is recognisable anymore! Bermondsey is full of rich outsiders and foreigners.They are the only ones who can afford the rents or properties now. Very sad!
