My friend and I went hiking in the mountains and found an old log cabin there. We were very surprised by the comfort of this house despite its old age and we really wanted to spend the night here. There's a windstorm all around and we're on top of a mountain in a warm dugout. Delicious food, a game of checkers with a friend and a cozy overnight stay with warmth and comfort! It was unforgettable. Enjoy watching!

Beautiful location for a dug-out cabin. Beautiful cabin, too. Loved the drop-down table. Smart idea. Sadly, most of the bothies in my country have been converted into storage sheds, so seeing one still used for its original purpose is very nice indeed.

The drop down table is ingenious! I’ve always thought that you should do this. I thought the table should be on hinges on the wall so the table could be latched to the wall on one side the other on a hinge to pull it upward and latch to to wall. Unlatch and the table folds down. But this beats my idea 100%. Great idea who ever made those!

If you go out on hikes and stumble across some cabn dig out etc and there is dry seasoned wood with in you should always restock as curtsy respect for the next to do the same .. it keeps all Happy and saves time in the first light of the hearth...

the best thing about your videos is that you are always trying to do something new which is really interesting. i stayed in a dugout on an early winter weekend that were expecting a little snow. it was warm and comfortable... till we tried to get out the 3rd day. it had snowed 30" (76cm). the door opened outward to save space inside. so nope, not getting out that way. LOL we ended up letting in a ton of snow through the roof trapdoor that was meant to bring larger things into the cabin.
