That is a good roofer. No misplaced nails in key ways for potential leaks. I would pay extra for this quality work.

I have done a few jobs by hand nailing. I have also worked for others who require only hand nailing. Great skill to learn. I'm slow at it but I can do it. Good job Sir.

I have seen alot of these with titles like fastest roofer ever this is the first one that could come work with me. Stepping not racking and good nail placement not just throwing them im a roofer and unlike most so is this guy .some people move really fast but get nothing done the trick is to make it look like your not working hard but still end up with 10 sq more than everyone else
@Beandiptheredneck3 жыл бұрын
Exactly. Who cares if you’re fast if you’re doing it wrong. This guy wasn’t a whole lot slower with a hammer than I am with a gun 😅

Brother the trick iS.. I MOVE really fast& efficiently/effectively, you're method WILL NEVER cut it up here in MICHIGAN FYI, you ARE not a real 💯%k ROOFER, stop proclaiming,I literally could only watch 1f**kin min of this clown sending nails flying everywhere,. . Was about 14 years old when my Dad showed me how to do this and I sure got some sore left hand set finger tips. We aligned the right side with the hammer.....it rarely left my right hand from what I can remember. Had a blade on it....And an adjustable "gauge" screw. I think he still has one of the hammers. Great memories - I'm 47 now.

Hand-nailed is the best. Reason being that pneumatic nail guns always cause some amount of damage to the shingles. Somebody needs design a proper roofing nail gun that has zero chance of blow through.
@elijahhammel76884 жыл бұрын

what is this method of roofing called? i saw other videos where the guy had to tuck one shingle under the other, seemed odd...this guy doesn't have that problem?
@mrroofman4 жыл бұрын
It's pyramid style or step.The best way to install. The other is square or box style which places the shingle seams over one another "every other one" and voiding warranty.Its a faster way to install shingles but is not the correct way.You will be prone to more leak possibilities and blow offs
