*In 1957, Paul Anderson solidified his title as “The World's Strongest Man” by lifting 6,270 in a backlift. The Guinness Book of World Records entry was; “Greatest Lift. The greatest weight ever raised by a human being is 6,270 lbs.* In about 1974-75, I observed one of Paul's weight lifting performances. Talked with him after, and shook his hand. His hand almost felt like metal. Super nice guy, and a Christian. Oh, watched Paul take a 225 lb. dumbbell, press it straight out at shoulder level, to his side, multiple times, then held it there for several seconds. Watched him drive a 16d nail through 2 x 4 board. His first attempt failed ... he just gritted his teeth. Then he tried again, and drove it in as if done by a large sledge hammer. Also, at least 10 men, well over 200 lbs. each, sat on a table. Paul got under the table, lifted the table with the at least 10 men sitting on it, then twisted to the left about a foot or two, then twisted to the right about a foot or two, then sat them back on the floor. AMAZING STRONG MAN!

6 years ago when I was 20, we did a competition in a beach gym in Rimini (Italy) where you had to do "half deadlift" and 8 pull ups in superset. There where many contenders, and after each set the weight on the barbell increased. The competition lasted more than 3 hours and I managed to win after the most insane battle of my life. After a day of heavy work, an insane amount of pull ups and the final lift of 520kgs I won. I will never forget the feeling of insane power and gravity on my body when I had my best lift at 440kg. The adrenaline was Godly. After all this I won a bike, and I returned to work with that. Insane days, I was a warmachine. But it took me some time to recover from that. But I would do it again

On a slightly different strenght note, don't sleep on the late Steve Justa, author of "Rock, Iron, Steel, The Book of Strength" (RIP) who was dubbed the "Paul Anderson of strength-endurance." Some of his crazy feats: • Wearing a 200-pound chain-mail vest, walked for two miles in 50-minutes . • Created a 30-pound walking staff, walked 14-miles, never stopping or putting it down. • Created a 100-pound chain mail vest; wore it to work for a month shoveling grain in a silo all day long. • Dragged a 540-pound railroad tie 1/8th of a mile in 25-minutes. • Picked the 540-pound railroad tie off the ground, shouldered it, walked for 30-feet. • Picked up and shoulder-carried a 315-pound barrel for 1/8th of a mile. • Pushed a 570-pound rock 1/8th of a mile in 25-minutes. • Carried a 220-pound rock for 1.5 miles in 90-minutes. • Picked up 500-pounds on a 2-inch thick handle barbell and walked 50-steps. • Carried a 250-pound barbell for a mile taking 18 breaks. • Carried a barbell loaded to 700-pounds for 20 steps backwards. • Walked with an 800-pound barbell on his back for 20 steps outside through mud ankle deep mud, dubbed this his scariest feat. • In 1995, created a 300-pound kettlebell that he swung around like it was a 40-pound dumbbell.

You can exercise without iron, but simply with your own weight on horizontal bars, parallel bars, etc. And you will do at 100 years old what a master of sports cannot do at 40 years old.

I'm in awe of the bar! That's what made me click, could care less about who and how much is being lifted a bar like that is hilarious.

he know what happen if the barbell breaks in half? he will become two

What stands out for me is that he's apparently using some light weight discs instead of real heavy ones, or even 50kg's... it makes the feat look more impressive perhaps, or maybe he just used what he had!? 770kg should only require 7x50kg's + 1 25kg disc on each side (when bar is 20kg).

If you believe this is real I have no words. Note today is 5/15/2024. I looked it up the current record at the strong man Arnold classic as of 2024 is 1,006lbs. So yes I call BS on this person.

This guy should invent a rack pull machine because that was scary. If someone sees this please invent a rack pull machine. Also I want to say how extremely impressed I am that his tendons and ligaments in his arms and shoulders could handle this. That is madness.

I've never seen anything like it, what enormous power it has, admirable. I couldn't even roll the barbell because I'm only 125 cm tall I weigh 30 kg, so he lifts 25 times my body weight, I'm just speechless and shocked.

I noticed the steel is wobbling, but the racks on the side or not bending inward. That seems to be questionable in physics.

Only if you don't consider the lateral stability of the racks & their base of support
