Really really enjoyed watching this. Song always reminds me of my dad who passed away. My old 6 string is in the basement and I haven’t played it since he passed. I think you inspired me to maybe dust it off and tune it up again. My little boy might like hearing it. Thanks for sharing man.

Neil fans have probably seen it - and dozens of times at that - but that BBC broadcast is really interesting for two reasons: 1) Neil's performing a bunch of songs, most of which at that time were in pre-production for Harvest 2) British sound engineering back in the day is still the gold standard Anyway, ye plays it just as I do when I'm out yodeling on Sats and Suns. So I guess I've got it right. Thanks for confirming.

And yet for his Archives Performance Series he personally chose Live At Massey Hall 1971 for official release. This was and still is considered one of the most important concerts of all time by a Canadian in Canada. It was professionally recorded and produced by David Briggs who was so impressed with the tapes that he was adamant it be the next record, not Harvest. Neil disagreed but to this day he understands how David felt that way. This is the gold standard for pre Harvest concerts.

@snappytoetapper6 Uhhh I don't think Stills was the one that showed him Old Black. The D-45 he has is from him though, Stills bought one for members of Buffalo Springfield after they became successful
