Fuki from Unlucky Morpheus, came in to Gacharic Spin as the vocalist when their singer quit to finish off the tour they were on. They worked out so well that they formed Doll$Boxx as a side project.

I'm with you on the Maximum the Hormone, and this song. MTH actually got me to buy audio CDs for the first time in decades and I got everything I could, along with Nemophila and Band-Maid discs. It costs a bit to get some of these from Japan. Gacharic Spin is another favorite (who are Doll$boxx + guest singer Fuki) as others have mentioned. Breath of fresh air indeed!

Doll$boxx is amazing and yes, the sound can be a bit chaotic since the four instrumentalists are from Gacharic Spin who are know for blending a variety of genres into a single song and more that one reviewer has used the term "controlled chaos" to describe their unique sound. Many years ago Gacharic Spin had a tour lined up in Japan but their singer had health issues and Fuki, who now sings with Unlucky Morpheus, was one of the singers who filled in. Everyone got along so well that they decided to do a side project, Doll$boxx, which has a bit more heavier sound than GS.

Doll$Boxx and it is dolls box the $ is just an artistic representation of an s is getting back together later this year for at least one event hopefully more it has been a long time since they have performed together as an other has mentioned this is a supergroup with most of Gacharic Spin and Fuki on vocals

One of my favorite all-time Japanese bands. Love the songs, Fragrance and Twin Lone Stars. I have them #4 on my list, with #1 Band Maid, #2 One Ok Rock, #3 Wagakki and #5 Hanabie. And yeah, Hana on Drums is epic, both in terms of her original sound and vocalization.

Basically this band is the band Gacharic Spin (their guitarist, bassist, drummer, keyboardist) with the lead singer Fuki from the band Unlucky Morpheus. So there are not many Doll$box tracks. Gacharic Spin - Mindset (mv might actually be preferable here it the audio hits really hard in the mv) Gacharic Spin - I Wish I Gacharic Spins drummer in this track, Hana, is now one of the bands guitarists. She does unclean vocals sometimes, and their lead singer, who is not in the band in this video, does uncleans sometimes as well. But most of their tracks do not have uncleans, or not many. But do have that sexy bass! If you like bass then Gacharic Spin will be good for you. F Choppa Koga is their bassist and co-founder. She is a really good famous bassist in Japan. So a lot of their tracks are bass heavy. ------ Unlucky Morpheus - Angreifer live Unlucky Morpheus are amazing as well though. They have cleans an uncleans, can be pretty heavy, and have a nice surprise instrument in most tracks :D ------ Also if you want some more fun, upbeat happy Japanese all women or women fronted metal with cleans and uncleans, then Hanabie - We Love Sweets mv (there are no lives with good sound quality) Broken By The Scream - Sayonara Birthday mv (there are no lives with good sound quality) Passcode - Taking You Out live 2018
