Hey...and another one,cool!Japanese song(by Koji Tamada) and the first time,Dimash has sung in japanese.Recorded in his own Studio for the Tokyo Jazz Festival,due to Covid.Dimash speaks Kazakh,English,Russian and a little Mandarin,but he can sing in over 16 languages(learns phonetically)As impressive as his Range is,he doesn't pay all that much attention to it,he uses what is needed for the song,that's it.

Wonderful reaction. Once you've recovered from the "shock" 😉of the quality of Dimash's vocals, you should also pay attention to the actual music. Subtitles are important, especially because he sings in so many languages. Also, many of his songs have very interesting backstories that are also worth exploring. There is a Chinese version of this Japanese song (Autum Strong) with a very tragic backstory, he sings both versions. Dimash is always emotionally connected to what he sings, and that's why it's so authentic. He also doesn't stick to a certain genre, it's always a surprise what comes next. That makes him unique. For me, he is the definition of a complete artist, he has a comprehensive musical education, he composes and produces himself. Of course, he has great talent, but he has also worked very hard to reach this level of perfection.

Dimash speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently and pretty good in English now and some Mandarin but he says he finds mandarin very difficult but perseveres as he has had great success in China and has many Chinese dears. He has sung different songs in different languages. When he has concerts in other countries, he usually tries to sing a song in that country’s language.

Another great reaction. Ikanaide is in my top 3 Dimash performances as it really shows his mastery over his instrument. I highly recommend Omir, the mood video, available on Dimash's channel as it shows his journey from childhood through being awarded by the Pope, gifted to his "Dears" on his 29th birthday. He just turned 30 at the Instanbul concert in May.

A Chinese person reacting to him singing in Chinese said he thought Dimash spoke Mandarin fluently he was totally floored and amazed by Dimash command and expression of Mandarin.

It's a case of genetic gift (Mother was an Opera singer; Father was Pop/Music producer), plus a family who supported and encouraged his talent(s). Then the timeline. If DIMASH had been born during USSR control (before '91) he would been a "state" star but I doubt he would have the opportunity to travel, create his own label, studios and projects. (DIMASH was born in '94). Also, the evolution of social media. Without YT I doubt I would have ever heard him. He would be a local or national phenom, but international? Probably not. (Because of state control.)

This is the song I listen to at night when I have trouble sleeping. It lowers my heart rate, calms me and even when at the end when he hits those high notes, it’s so beautiful that my heart soars with him and am left with nothing but a peaceful, anything is possible feeling. He is known to be a contra therapy singer. His voice has the power to heal.. he is very humble about it when it’s brought up with him in interviews, brushing it off that maybe it’s just people being distracted by his music for a little while, but I know for a fact that just hearing him sing brings on a feeling of well-being.
