@@frankwright1571 You must not be familiar with The Singer in China. It is a competition for professional long established singers (stars) in China and also invite foreign professional singers. The other foreign singer contestant was Fouzia in this 2024 competition. Chante was invited because she is an established professional and well known singer. Dimash was a contestant in 2017, invited as a foreign wild card and became a mega star in China because of this tv competition show. He is invited every year now as a great favor to this show for their contribution to his career.

Dimash always keeps to the level of his duet partner, for him it's about the overall performance, not about trying to make himself look better than others. He's extremely respectful of other artists limitations especially here where Chante is the contestant and he's the guest star although it was wonderful to see them having so much fun together both onstage and off.

Chante is a POWERHOUSE. She’s been that since her first lp in 1992. She just had a record label that never gave her the proper promotion. We’ve been great friends since that first lp…as I worked for Universal Music and sold all be records. She is a sweet as she is beautiful. As sincere as she is talented. Go listen for her whistle! She blows Mariah away. (Am I love Mariah). She did many more songs on this show. They are all on KZbin. It’s about time the WORLD discovered CHANTE! Being in the US, i’ve never heard of Dimash. But he is incredible! The two of them together is MAGIC! This must get released!!

People keep saying that Dimash held back to let Chante shine, when did he do that? He had more big moments than her planned into the performance and even the tv show took the camera off Chante during her belting moment to show back stage reactions. Not all songs need all the belts and whistles, a lot of the time when you over sing and are just showing off your vocals you lose the emotions and meanings to the song. I think they are two great singers that were respectful to each other and had a great time performing together

Dimash makes it a point not to overshadow his duet partners on stage. You won’t ever see him sing full power or acrobatics if it doesn’t match his partner’s skill set. He’s incredibly modest, considerate and humble.

They had so much fun and sexy chemistry. As with all duets that Dimash does, he tries to make the other person shine; she was the one competing. But he didn’t have to hold back like he normally does as Chante is a powerhouse in her own right! They just fed off each other’s energy, it was so great to watch; better to experience it live! Theirs was the best duet of the night anyway but of course, they didn’t win that round! You should.check out Faouzia; appeared in this video while Dimash was doing his solo riff! Songs: Desert Rose, RIP Love, ICE. She is another unique artist!

He gets invited to lots of programmes and gala concerts in China and he goes there a couple of times a year to perform , always at the most important events and holidays in China. Another performer you should check out from this competition is Faouzia (FOE-zee-ah). She's a Moroccan born Canadian singer who's coming up in the world and made a big splash in China. She is phenomenal. Though most of her performances from China were covers, she typically writes most of her own songs. Some recommends are Desert Rose (Sting cover), Cry Me a River (JT cover) RIP Love (Faouzia original). Also from her YT channel, Fur Elise, another original. She's been around for a few years now, even at just 24 years old, but never seems to get the recognition she deserves. Her stretch in China helped with that. Cheers!

Dimash always does what is required for the song. You are not truly familiar with most of his repertoire yet, and he has many songs without high notes at all, and they are not less beautiful to me. For example, his Kazakh songs often have a completely different style, and they are not at all about range, but how melodious, moving and beautiful they are and how wonderfully he performs them!
