I have a great 99 S500 Black on Black and get more looks, attention and thumbs up in that car than any of the rest of them. Love that thing and I will never sell it! It drives like a dream and is one of the most comfortable cars I have ever driven. They don't make them like that anymore.

I had one of these, in red, 500SL, which was a little faster (new emissions or something after like 94-95 and they changed the name to SL500). Made it to 170 on the interstate before realizing even though it’s 3am and I haven’t seen a car since I got on the interstate, I’m in a bright red Mercedes. It’s the most commonly ticketed car in America around the time I had one. What irks me is I can’t see if part of the bottom grille on his fell out or not because they do that and it’s a bitch to find a replacement
