I’m just so intrigued by the lifestyle!! I haul milk for a living, and we have a lot of German Baptist and Mennonite’s, but mostly Amish in SW Wisconsin. I had a tragic accident at one of my German Baptist farms, a family I grew to know and love, and it involved their 18 month old son. Afterwards, one Grandpa who lived in Virginia personally asked me to come to their Church service. I have never in my life had so much love and caring and inquiring of my health( mental mostly) as I did at that Church. And before the funeral, many families personally stopped by my house to pray with me, and see how I was. That was over 18 yrs ago in Aug 2006, and even though I haven’t picked up this family’s milk for a few years now due to route change, we still exchange Christmas cards every now and then. I have the highest regards of them and of the culture. Their outpouring of love and forgiveness….went a long way in saving my life!! Wish the whole world could act with as much grace.

I just seem to like closer action scenes where the Amish are chopping in the fall. In one video, you actually had a close caption talk and it looks like the Amish were only 50 feet away. Also, what ever happened to the farm that was replaced by the Thanksgiving day fire? Skip, Western PA
