Old person here. You’re right there’s a lot of walking😝 The last time we went to EPCOT, we knew which rides to avoid but by the time we got to World Showcase our feet were screaming at us. We asked a park employee about the transportation that used to run around World Showcase only to be told it didn’t exist and we’d have to walk all the way back to the entrance to get a wheelchair instead. The idea of walking that far was a no go. We shuffled to the British pub to get a seat and have a nice cold beer instead.

Informative video for those of us a little older.

OMG Morgan, you nailed it! I'm 62 and I (family too) was a WDW Warrior, AP holder living 1500 miles away. I just can't "work" the parks like I used to. It's sad and I miss how we would do the same...rope drop until Fireworks!! It's a lot. I miss the old Disney. Love your channel!

I'm glad you agree! Great minds think alike, right?

We love Epcot! It never grows old, (although we do.) We almost always go there two or three times on every trip to WDW.

This was so helpful! We have magic key passes to Disneyland but I have never gone to Disney world. Over 50 now and when we go, this is going to come in handy!

I am certainly an old geezer and I do love me some Epcot. So, naturally I found this amusing and thoughtful. I have far less patience with long lines as a curmudgeon and plan my twice-per-year visits accordingly. I am utterly not interested in character meet-and-greets (except Mary Poppins, but that goes without saying) or popcorn buckets or the food and wine festival. What I do love about Epcot is the often excellent full-service table restaurants, shopping, the convenience of the monorail. And I don’t need a passport to spend time in France. 🇫🇷

I have always loved going to Epcot - especially the day after a long, hard day walking around MK (old person here - 61) Epcot always was a relaxing park to me with how they had great music playing - don't remember if that music played last time I was there. I absolutely love Guardian's of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind - my new favorite ride there. We paid to go on 2 times just to make sure we got on it! This was a very informative video - especially for people who have not been yet, or haven't been in a long time!

Great review of Epcot rides. We did Epcot when it first opened and again 3 years ago. Lots of walking for 67 yr Olds. Limited rides to boats and mellow events. But international culture venues are great

I remember back in the day Space Mountain scared me to death. I kept saying "you can't die in Disney, you can't die in Disney" LOL

If you are an old person, I am a very, very old person. I have back/neck issues but love the thrill rides. However, my problem is getting in and out of the ride. Test Track is way to low for me to get out of it! I love it, but would need a crew of first responders to help me get up out of the ride. Also the rides with the moving platforms are a challenge with balance issues. (But they will slow down the platform for you.)

Old person? I went on Guardians of the Galaxy at the age of 63 … twice. I’m fortunate to have been going to Disney World when it was just the Magic Kingdom.

Great review of all the rides...I agree with all your evaluations of all the rides in Epcot. Sometimes I miss not having an annual pass until I see a blog that reminds me," Oh yeah, it's not the same park." I can have trouble with simulator s that have a lot of images rushing to my face. I have found if I close my eyes for the most intense parts I can make it through the rides unaffected. I have utilized this technique on Soar n. The water remark is so funny....😊

My last time to Epcot.... plantar fasciitis!! I over did it in preparing, by walking to much and not stretching... 2 days before we fly down!!.. Spent the week there in a mobility scooter!

I love this. When I was 50, I wasn't OLD....but by 68, well...maybe I might be aging a bit! The technology aspects of Disneyworld baffle me and I am thankful I have YOUNG children (40's) to help me through the challenges. Honestly, I haven't been since my oldest was a freshman in high school, and I rode the bus with the band to Florida from Delaware & back. Maybe I will try it again before I turn 70, but will need child supervision to manage the tech. Will definitely rent a scooter for the old guy husband tho.........

As a member of Gen X, I still don't consider myself "old". That said, I am a more relaxed person and so I did enjoy the video for sure. I have never been into the thrill rides. Soarin is awesome to me.

Omg, Exremely helpful about the Gaurdians ride! Especially your video of the ride! Thank you so much! I sometimes get motion sickness. I can do some simulator rides and some roller-coasters. I do look at all the ride info before going to parks. But when Universal opened the very first Harry Potter ride the tv commercials made it look like an easy fly through Hogwarts. But to my surprise, it was Not! I got so sick I vomited during the ride. Multiple times!!! As you know , you are so tightly strapped in you cant see your ride partners, and no one knew I was in distress. Needless to say, my clothes were a mess, and I felt so badly that the rest of my day was ruined. Actual video clips like yours would be more helpful for people who sometimes experience motion sickness.

Yes, mission space is not for the faint of heart. We did the first easy one and thought,'How bad can the other one be?' Big mistake, big big mistake 😅

OMG I almost DIED on Mission space and I was SOBER!. It ended my day. I threw up twice on the way back to our hotel. Mission Orange is hell on earth. It was co-designed with NASA. Read the Trip Advisor reviews on that ride. You will die laughing
@beatlejeff65Ай бұрын
Old person who thinks he's still young here. EPCOT is my favorite WDW park. I can ride Mission Space Green with no problem. I must admit I've never attempted the Orange side given its reputation. As for Guardians, I've ridden it once, back in March. While I was on it I was thinking it was fun. As soon as I got off of it, I ran straight to the nearest trash barrel and puked. Lesson: save a visit to Club Cool until after you ride this one. Never had any problems on any of the other EPCOT rides.

Oh no! I'm sorry "Guardians" got you. It's so much fun, but yes, very dangerous for motion sickness.

As someone who has a bad back , legs and severe motion sickness, the only place I could attempt is walking through the area with water fountains etc , and as I’m in a wheelchair I would still need to be pushed on that lol 😂 😉

Personal perspective. I'm confident I will never see the inside of a Disney park in the US. I'm watching this strictly to support you. My two brothers live in Florida and they won't go.
