That's only just a fan theory, and it's unconfirmed whether that audio drama is even canon to begin with. Jessie's mother was never acknowledged as a Team Rocket member in any episode of the anime

What I find funny is that the two episodes you reviewed in this youtube video, were both written by the head writer of the Pokemon anime, Takeshi Shudo. He's also the same person who created Jessie, James, and Meowth, which is why they're more prominent in these episodes than they are normally, and it was his decision to keep Team Rocket in the anime all these years later 🙏 thank you, Takeshi Shudo

6:35 TheCartoonGamer8000 made a video about about how the Porygon debut episode that caused seizures forced reruns of the episodes to have frame rates cut to prevent any more possible risks. I believe that is why certain scenes look like that and you have to watch the episodes from more specific sources to get the more fluid original animation with all the frame rates intact.

I wish I liked classic Team Rocket, but like you said, they were, and still remain, 95% annoying interruptions for me… But then, everything changed when the Sun&Moon anime attacked. By far the best the anime has ever been and finally a season that allowed Team Rocket's comedy to fit in with the show overall. Because the majority of the show was a comedy, and a funny one at that. Now it's the "plot" that's the filler and the comedy hi-jinx that's the substance. And ironically, that approach allowed to actually introduce and legitimately DEVELOP many recurring characters, because we're not just travelling between single-episode-locations and meeting single-episode-NPCs. And that's not even mentioning the animation. Peak Pokémon anime, no contest. Sure, I liked that XY&Z actually did so much more plot than previous seasons, but the follow-up really showed that's clearly not what Pokémon was meant to be. It's a wacky world with wacky creatures with wacky powers. It should always do comedy. Disclaimer: Can't speak to the quality of the English dub, as I only watched with subs.

I passed on sun and moon when it started airing, I might have to give it a try someday. The comedy aspect is great, but I think each season focusing on different stuff could make the series more fun and interesting to go through overall

You gotta rewatch season 1 from the beginning Bulbasaur isn't being a dick he was abandoned once before that's how he ended up with Melanie the pokemon daycare lady he hadn't been with Ash very long before the shipwreck he wasn't sure what happened so that's what his mind came up with which makes their relationship that much more special Bulbasaur stays the longest ( into Master Quest) of the Kanto starters and one of Ash's most loyal Pokemon.

The sad thing about cancer is that we do have the power to cure it, but the medical industry wants to milk it for money. Curing any diagnosis like cancer equals no more money donations it's all about monopolism my friend from the medical industry to insurance causing things to be expensive since profit. like back then in the early 1900's a medical procedure only cost $ 20 to have, but thanks to the introduction of the insurance concept they now can charge massively for medical procedures, house damage repairs, and vehicle repairs.

Aye, the Kanto, Orange Islands and Johto seasons were pretty wacky in the comedic aspect most of the time. After that the next few seasons mellowed a bit, and I pretty much stopped at the Black and White seasons, considering that the anime isn't really giving Ash the development we wanted him to have.

From trying to rewatch this anime as an adult, (I haven''t rewatched all the episodes yet) I too think that the Team Rocket trio are the best characters in the whole show. James is my favorite one of the human characters who ever made any appearances, and Eric Stuart was a great casting choice for him. RIP Rachel Lillis, you truly did a good job at voicing both Jessie and Misty.
