I have driven past this pub loads of times even though I do not live in the area, and I have to wonder why a large pub in built up area would close down. Im guessing it's not a large Muslim area that might be a reason for it closing down?

I work behind the pub and can't for the life of me remember why it closed.as you say it's not a large Muslim area and there are a couple of pubs quite close to this one that are still open.

I go to the Stax wholesale place a few times a year, always seemed like a well populated place that could benefit from a pub, saying that, not like the pub game is easy these days with people often opting for cheaper beers at home, and the youths of today turning away from nights out like my generation did.
