Well he wasn’t. It was someone else who found the Easter egg & thought Deimos was Gerald. Kudos didn’t agree with the theory at all & had his own theory which we now know was completely wrong.

@@janraptor47 Sam Fisher is a ghost, the fact that in documents he is Zero and NOT Sam Fisher in Rainbow is one clear indiciator of that. Six, especially in Rainbow now is transparent at least to the governments it answers to... no way would Sam Fisher, a GHOST, be the FACE of an organization and be SIX. Don't get me wrong, Sam Fisher IS a legend, but you don't get a legendary plumber to do an electrician's job.

Fully trust the idea that this easter egg is just that and not an identity reveal for Deimos. But it seems odd to include this in particular because while mundane the choice of a former operator who was a materials engineer points back to this past season's comic and the strong bullets that were re-created. Guessing something with that is going to be important going into Year 9.

There were leaks about multiple Ubisoft projects connected to R6 universe. I think one of them may be game where Deimos's backstory will be revealed. But now I'm just throwing random stuff on the wall. Leaked projects connected to R6 (Take it with big grain of salt. Idk, the Russian Literature degree works with all the Russian war paintings and history books, while ATF could be represented by the alcohol, cigars and firearms we see on the map. The inorganic chemisty would work with Fenris’ Fear gas and the first move he made against rainbow was a bomb since he has training in bomb detection could have known how to prevent other operators from knowing what to look for thus why they are caught off guard when raiding the Nighthave weapons. Maybe not Demos but definitely more than just an easter egg

One thing, when the team captures Deimos and put him in a interrogation room, he's still masked, cuffed, but still wearing full combat gear; as soon as they got him off a plane/car/helecopter isn't the normal thing to strip search people? Sure I guess tensions are not even just high but super high, people over look things but ffffuuuck, I can see this turning into a successful escape attempt already.

@@ireallydontknow278 your not wrong but there is a angle that can be worked we’re one with a strong will and great conviction towards defeating the enemies and is willing to do more and it would help if it was someone that actually knows what there doing and isn’t just a psychiatrist that can work in the field on the sidelines and it can be what unites all of rainbow and potentially night haven as well knowing now that at least some of the new night haven members mainly ela is starting to see the empty promises kali gave to her there already working the angle of nighthaven teaming up with rainbow again to stop demios why not have that paper be more than just a Easter egg and say either demios is using the guy and rainbow eventually recruits him to stop demios or just go the boring route and have Sam pull a cheesy quote of I’m calling in a favor it dosent have to end with another 6 it can still be the ops basically govern themselves and it still could work you made valid points

Personally i dont think morris is deimos Forst is the fact that well again the fact deimos is making chemichal weapons and morris deals with explosives so kinda weord also the fact that morris is a team player while deimos very clearly isont shpwn by the fact he just throws members of his own group into danger without any real regard for anybody also the cinematic at the start of dread factor also kinda shpws this because pf the fact he just kills all the scientists in the test chambers by releasing the fear toxin so do i belive that morris is deimos Absolutely not is it a possibility very much so but im not buying it still tough morris is probably the closest one we currently have as to an ex american rainbow operative but i think its really just a reference
