Jokkeri I don't know if spending is a good word, Ae86 would make a good investment. If i had to buy a 10 000e car i would seriously consider an Ae86, some other options would be something like Type-r Integra etc.

Luckally in the US they are not that bad despite what people say. you can find twin cam hatches for 4-5k if you are patient. I paid $500 for my coupe shell

Man, as a gaijin married to a Japanese and living in Japan, I have to say, your channel feels GREAT to see. It shows the Japan and japanese car people I know, relaxed, a bit weird but always nice. Honestly, I think Rii-chan's AE86 is pretty cool compared to the other that were introduced in this video. It's more so because it has a lot of history to it, it's not like a lot of newer cars today (as you mentioned in the previous video), and it seems like a challenge to drive it. Plus, a lot of people are big fans of hatchback AE86's, but this coupe is something else. Really great video and I hope that Garage Shapple gets a little more business in the future. Keep the old car times alive!

Dude that’s so cool to see an MSD 6A box on a true JDM car in Japan. They originated from American Muscle and are great additions to any mechanically timed car for better fuel burn, and better throttle response. Putting a 6AL-2 on my 300z so I can adjust the rev limiter and other settings, my ECU will have the 2 step though.
